three

~first wish

"My genie?" I asked, confused.

"Yep. Believe it or not, I'm your personal genie. And please don't rant on about something to me, because looks can deceive. I'm not this kind, understanding, warm-hearted boy, you think I am."

I raised an eyebrow. "I never thought that you were a kind, understanding, warm-hearted boy though."

His eyes slightly widened. "What?! Then.." He trailed off.

"I thought you were a weird alien that wanted to abduct me. Why do you think I ranted to you? ...yes, it partly was to let out some steam. But I was also trying to scare you away because I thought that you'd kidnap me and take me to an alternate dimension."

He scoffed in disbelief. "Well guess what , I'm not an alien. But anyways, let me grant your first wish."

I blinked a couple times. "A wish?"

"Yes a wish. Did you forget? I'm your genie. And us genies can grant you three wishes. You don't come upon them easily, so consider yourself lucky." He praised himself.

I rolled my eyes and got up to get several buckets of ice cream from the kitchen.

"What are you doing? Where are you going? Aren't you going to ask me to grant you a wish?" He followed me out of my room.

"What do you think ya alien? I'm gonna try to heal my heart by eating all this." I answered as I sat in front of my tv.

"Chocolate, green tea, cookies n cream, vanilla, and strawberry." I muttered while counting off the ice cream buckets.

"You know, I can grant you a wish for all the heartbreak you're feeling to be taken away..."

I snapped my head to look at him. "Really?!"

"Yeah. I did say that I can grant you anything your heart desires."

"Well then. I wish that all the feelings on heartbreak is taken away from me."

"As you wish princess."
