ETHAN'S POV
I drive over to the hybrid auction house with a heavy sleeping Grayson in the backseat. I pull up into the parking lot to see the owner Thomas waiting for me along with 2 guards.
I exit the car once it's parked. "Here's your money" Says Thomas, and right before I was gonna grab the suitcase full of money he pulls it back, "The hybrid first" He smirks. I open the backseat and stare at Grayson in awe as he sleeps sucking on his thumb, I take him out and place him in the arms of one of the guards. Thomas hands me the money.
"Take good care of him" I say to Thomas and the guards, "Trust me, we will" Thomas chuckles before they walk into the warehouse.

GRAYSON'S POV
I wake up with a yawn and tried to snuggle into Ethan but no one was there. I open my eyes and gasp at the sight of my neck in a collar with chains which are attached to the pole in the centre of the empty room.
"ETHAN!" I yell crying but in response I hear a chuckle from behind me, I turn to look behind me to see Thomas laughing, "Welcome back little one, Ethan didn't want you so he sent you back such a shame" I sob at his words not believing them.
"And because of that, we'll have to put you down" He says evilly as he walks out the cell as I scream.

NATE'S POV
I look around the classroom to see Grayson's still absent after a week. I walk over to Aaron crouching next to the lonely boy without his friend, "Where's Grayson?" I ask him and in response he just shrugs, "I don't know but I miss him" I nod "Me too".
I walk over to Miss Smith's desk opening the files looking for Grayson's. I found Ethan's number and rang him.
"Hello?"
"Hi Ethan this is Nate from Hybrid Daycare, is there a reason why Grayson is absent this whole week?"
"He won't be coming anymore, I returned him"
I gasped before hanging up and grabbing the Hybrid law book beside Miss Smith's family photos. I flick through the book until I reached Chapter 11, Section C.
Chapter 11, Section C - Any Hybrid returned to where they are from can be put down legally.
I slam the book closed, "I need to find Grayson" I whisper to myself.
