Dolorosa had passed the Room a thousand times that week, peeking in with great anticipation, waiting for the moment her creation would come to life. It would be soon.
The lab hands passed her, paying no attention to the window she so fondly liked to look through, only going to the room with the scanners and the buttons and the technology from which her creation had spawned. Well they called it her creation, she almost thought of the growing fetus as her own child, despite the fact it shared no DNA with her, or that she even carried it in her own body.
The artificial embryo was clear and visible in the room, the thin outline of a small face, and small strands of snow white hair sprouting from the infant's head.
Suddenly his eyes flashed open, a bright blood red, and sirens went off around her.
He was developed fully enough to be removed from the artificial embryo.
Interns and Lab-hands worked quickly, pressing buttons and pulling things to insure the child would survive. Fluid was drained from the small area in which the infant was, the pod opened, steam pouring out as the last bit of the fluid was drained from it.
Tiny limbs began flailing around, and a cry escaped from his lips. Dolorosa reached down, picking him up and cradling him in her arms, cooing softly to calm him as he cried.
The sobs lessened and he looked up to her with bright red eyes once more. She smiled softly, holding out a finger, which the child grabbed, his entire hand wrapping around her finger.
"Hello there..." she cooed "Hello..."

As you may have guessed that little baby is in fact the signless!! This is actually a flashback, and there will be other flashbacks, but the main storyline will mostly be from karkats point of view.
I'm exited to where this is going to go because i have a HUUUUUGE plot scheme for this shit.
