What Is This// Jughead x Reader

Part 1

As I walk into pops diner on the last day of summer to meet my dear friend Jughead Jones I'm nervous. I have no idea why but I am. I mean I like him and he doesn't know and I haven't seen him all summer because I was working with my dad at Andrews Construction and being a counselor at summer camp.

   "Hay juggie how was summer" I say sitting down next to him.

   "Eh the only thing that really happened was Jason drowning and your brother being a jerk. Like the blueish green in your hair by the way makes you look cool" he said with a smirk. I had long blonde hair and over the summer I had put turquoise at the ends of my hair because why not.

   "Thanks and what did my brother do this time" I say stealing some fry's.

   "Same old" he said "I just got fed up with it"

   "I understand it's been so great to get away for sometime" I say as I see his eyes shift to the door.

   "Speak of the devil" he said as Betty and Archie "think Betty's gonna finally tell him?" He asked. Betty has had a huge crush on my brother and has never admitted.

   "Probably not she's never said anything and if she did Archie would probably be in his own little world" I say siping his milkshake.

   "Wanna snoop" he said.

   "Hells yeah" I smirked looking over at them.

   "What was the highlight?" Archie asked.

   "Of my internship?" She asked. "The Tony Morrison book release party by far" she said as she rambled on about the author guy and how he's so great. "How was working for your dad?"

   "It was pouring concrete, every day, all day long. To pass the time, I would start composing these poems in my head and at night, I would go home and write them down"

   "Oh God" I groaned turning back to jug.

   "What?" He asked confused.

   "He's been writing these songs and there good don't get me wrong but he keeps asking me to help him" I tell him.

   "Why you tho?" He asked

   "I used to help Josie and her pussy cats" I said.

   "Oh yeh"

   "Wait listen" I say turning back around.

   "Also I've been thinking about us, Archie, and our friendship and how it's time we take it to the next level" she starts as a brunet beauty walks in and distracts my baboon of a brother.

   "Oh my God" I say looking back to jug "are you starting at her to?" I say with a tinge of jealousy in my voice.

   "No" he says looking back at me "why you jealous Ari?" He asks with a smirk.

   "Shut up" I say rolling my eyes.

   "Do you guys go to Riverdale?" The brunet asks.

   "Yes we do together" Betty says.

   "And so dose my sister over there with her boyfriend" Archie smirks as me and jug blush.

   "We're not dating but we are softmores with you guys" I say.

   "Awesome" she says "oh I'm Veronica by the way"

   "I'm Ariana, this is Jughead and you have already met Archie and Betty" I say smiling.

   "Hey" jug says eating his food.

   "Well it's very nice to meet you all and I'll see you tomorrow for my tour Betty" Veronica said grabing the bag and walking out.

   "She seams nice" I said to jug.

   We finished our food and all went home to prepare for the first day of school.
