Chapter 2: After School
Quinn's P.O.V:
Well, I meet a few other people, but definitely not as charming as Puck. After school I go to my dorm to meet my dorm mates. When I walk in, I see there's only one other girl, and she's sitting on her bed on her phone. She looks really pretty with her dark wavy hair, and her darkish caramel skin. She almost looks like one of her parents was Asian, and the other was black. Anyway, that's not the point.
"Uhm... hey," I say a little awkwardly.
"Oh! Hey, you're Quinn, right?" the girl asks.
"Yeah..." I answer.
"My name is Cassandra, but everyone calls my Cassie. So, I was thinking you'd be on the right side and I'd be on the left. If we just do that with most things, then you get the right cabinet in the bathroom, the bed on the right, the first 4 right side cabinets in the kitchen, and things like that. If you don't want to do that then it's oka-" she starts but I interrupt her.
"That's fine! Seems simple enough," I say with a shrug.
"Oh, okay... well, nice to meet you, I guess," Cassie says with a slight smile and I nod.
Once I get most of my things out, I go on my phone and text Puck,
"Hey! It's Quinn. :)"
A few minutes later I get a reply from him saying,
"Hey! What's up?"
"Just got settled into my dorm. Wby?"
"Waiting to get to go to work."
"Oh, should we talk later then?"
"Nah, I still got a few minutes."
"Oh okay... so, where do you work?"
"Mondays and Thursdays at a dry cleaners, Tuesdays and Fridays at Starbucks, and on some spare days my Uncle's restaurant."
"Wow, I probably need to get a job :/"
"Haha, I'm hoping to find a software job soon-ish though, so I can work some days from home. That's the main reason I'm going to college."
"Oh cool!"
"Yeah, well, I have to go to work now, see ya later :)"
"Oh okay, see ya!"
Well, I guess I should probably do my homework.
A/N: Bleh, short chappy :( I really just wanted to introduce Cassandra and get to know Puck. IK, you still haven't figured out the big "scandal" with Puck, but I want this book to be longish so yeah. BTW WHAT DID YOU THINK OF CASSANDRA? I feel most made up chars are mostly the same and such, and I wanted to branch out. So, Cassandra has OCD, ikr, you'll see more of it later xD She likes everything planned out and organized. Uhm, her mom is Asian and her dad is Black. (You'll see them later in the book) and so yeah :) Please vote, comment, and more :D
