Transformers Prime/Animated Crossover

Tfp tfa Prowl crossover.

Yeah so I just finished watching tf animated and.... whoa! Good show, the characters were way too lovable and I got too attached to them and then the ending... peeps who have watched the show will know what I mean............ 😭that character death😭 I knew it was coming cause Rumble kinda spoiled it for me but... I was not prepared... anyways this A/N has gone on too long so uh yeah I don't own transformers or any of the characters (even though I am a character...) all rights go to Hasbro and all of them! And for the intro, I'll keep it short since even I don't know exactly what this will turn into...
So animated Prowl accidentally gets transported to the tfp universe which in this I'm having as the past so yeah he gets transported back in time and runs into the Prime Autobots!

"Send the bridge, Ratchet. We're ready," Arcee said over her comlink. A swirl of green, blue, and yellow appeared in front of her and Bumblebee. She and Bumblebee walked forward through the portal. They had gone to Detroit on a report that there were Decepticons there but it was a false lead. 

They returned to their base feeling a little frustrated at the waste of time.  Arcee sighed as she walked into the base. Bumblebee followed after her and waved at Ratchet as he buzzed a, "thank you." 

Arcee sat down and Ratchet powered off the groundbridge as usual only this time it was different... the bridge crackled louder than usual and started to spin rapidly.

"What's happening?" Arcee asked a little alarmed.

"I'm not sure," Ratchet replied testing the circuits and the monitor. 

The groundbridge continued to give off strange sounds and spun at a dizzying speed. It didn't turn off when Ratchet had powered it off, instead it started to glow brighter.

Ratchet looked up at it and took a step back.
"It's malfunctioning..." he said, "get back! It may explode!" he shouted and ran.

Arcee's eyes widened but not as much as Bumblebee's. They ran after Ratchet and hid in a hallway that was far enough away from the groundbridge, hopefully...

The bridge continued to glow brighter and buzz louder until it did as Ratchet had feared. It sent off a wave of energy and a loud sound followed.  Debris flew from the explosion and Bumblebee covered his head with his servos and shielded Arcee from the blast. 

The explosion wasn't as bad as it could have been and the smoke soon cleared. Ratchet looked up to determine the severity of the damage. The computer systems were flickering back online and the groundbridge still remained mostly intact though badly cracked and clearly not functioning.

"O-h," Ratchet scoffed disappointedly and stood. "It's all clear," he said to Arcee and Bumblebee. Bumblebee looked up and stood as well. Arcee got up and walked over to the computers with Ratchet.

"How bad is the damage?" she asked.

"I'm not sure yet..." he replied.  "I'll have to tell Optimus and Bulkhead that they'll have to drive back to base. Luckily they aren't too far away." Ratchet checked and the com system was still operational.
