“Honor… and glory! Say it with me, my son!”

“Dad, I have said that so many times. I know that I live by the same oath as you, but don’t you think it’s a little too much? We say it in the kitchen, in the living room, even while I’m in the bathroom!”

“It is never too much! A Crusader must always live and recite these oaths.”

You couldn’t help but chuckle at the men before you. Just like always, your husband tried to make your son enthusiastically utter those phrases
and many more, but you did he agree with your son: he made him say it everywhere. Reinhardt was just too proud of his son, even when he was just a small child.

Since a little boy, your son loved every Crusader story your husband told him before bedtime, while they rested in the couch, during lunch – the list goes on. Reinhardt just loved retelling about his times as a Crusader
and the excitement that went with it, although he always left out those parts that were more somber. Nothing made him happier than to have his son listen to his rambling.

Once his son was old enough, Reinhardt had decided it on
himself that he would train his son just like he used to train in the old days, but what he did not expect from you was to scold him for not notifying him on this. He sure was worried that you would say no to training him, but he was more shocked when you responded that you were disappointed in him for not letting
him know about it since you wanted to help him on his training as well. A laugh from him earned him a slap on the arm that day.

Now that your son was 21, the both of you couldn’t be any prouder of your son. He was just like his father, in his own armor and his righteous way of living, although a little more relaxed that his father’s. He knew how to carry himself in battle, maybe even a little better that your husband, but you swore to never tell him this.

“Stop pestering him, dear. I know you mean well but don’t you think a break would be nice?” You playfully exclaimed to the man, in which
your son beamed with hopefulness that his father would give him the peace he wished for. Sure enough, your husband scoffed at your statement and puffed his chest with pride.

“A Crusader never rests. Not even for a day!” Your son’s face quickly changed to one of dread at his father’s remark, but you knew a certain
way to get through your husband. You had to save your poor son’s life right
now.

“True, but we’re about to eat dinner and I’m sure you wouldn’t want to miss that, my Crusader.” The way his face changed from one of seriousness
to a sheepish one was more than you could have ever asked for. A meal was something that even Reinhardt wouldn’t even dare miss; he just loved your cooking.

“I-I guess you’re right, liebling,” he bashfully responded and went to face his son, this time, with excitement in his eyes as you placed their plates in front of them.

“Tonight, my son, we shall eat as champions! Thanks to your mother’s glorious food~” He pumped a fist into the air and his son followed suit in his own excitement. You giggled at the silly scene and sat in your own chair. Once they gripped at each other’s’ hands just like any other man, they
went to gulp down at their meals. It was as if you had two sons under your roof and never a husband.
