Sarah POV...
"You don't have to do this, you're better than this, Da-,"
A man whirled around. He was over six foot tall, heavily muscled, his shin was a blueish green color, his hair was made of blue flame, and he wore black and white clothing. "I told you not to use that name, Sarah."
His eyes were blood red and his teeth were sharp. He looked out the window again, "Look at them, Sarah. Humans are weak, stupid, inferior...we are the future. I could kill them all right now..." a ball of black energy appeared in his palm, it gave off a soft green glow.
I walked over and hugged around his waist, "Ever since you took on your father's abilities you've become darker...less human. Please remember that while I am psychic, I'm still human."
The power faded and he sighed, "Yes, my love."
I leaned back as he turned to face me, then he looked into my eyes and wrapped his fingers around my throat, "You are only human..."
___________________Sarah jumped up, her body covered in sweat and she was shaking. "Dammit...why do I keep having that dream?"
She aimed a hand at a large leather book on the floor and it flew up to her hand. She opened it and near the middle was a pencil that she took and started drawing.
After a while she had a very detailed picture of the monster from her dreams with Da written at the top. She was going to be nearly an hour late for school.
Finally, she got ready for school and started walking towards the school, when she heard a loud BOOM!!!
A monster and a teenager with white hair appeared near the football field.
I started running towards them when the monster shot a beam of bright green energy at the boy, knocking him out of the air.
As I got closer I saw the boy blast the monster with a similar power and then fly away.
I couldn't let the monster get away.
I flexed my mental power over the beast, gripping it with the strength of my telekinesis.
Just as I was about to try and crush it, the boy flew back in and tackled it, then used a silver device to absorb the monster.
I was shocked, that boy had powers like that monster.
Then there was a flash of light and his hair turned black, his clothes became normal and he pocketed the silver device. As he stood to dust himself off, so I walked over to him.
It was Daniel Masters, new to the school, rich dad, kinda dorky looking, but also apparently a superhero. "Hi." I called from behind him, getting him to spin around.
He looked so...plain. Hard to believe he had just beaten a ghost monster.
"Hey... do I know you?" He asked, relaxing. His cheeks were still slightly flushed from the exertion.
I crossed my arms and raised an eyebrow, "Probably not, rich boy. My name is Sarah."
"Danny Masters, not rich boy. See ya later." He turned to walk away but I pulled him back with my telekinesis.
He looked at me with wide eyes and I grinned, "Not the only one with powers here, Danny."

Danny POV...
Well shit. Been at this school less than a day and some girl ahead already seen me use my powers.
I looked her over. She was barely five foot three with shoulder length dark hair and brown eyes. She wore knee high black boots, a black plaid skirt, and dark purple tank top. "I take it you'll keep my secret?"
She nodded, walking over to me. "Sure, provided you tell me a bit about you."
I groaned but led her over to a bleacher seat and sat down. "My name is Danny Masters. When I was a baby my mom and sister died in a car accident. My father had been a ghost hunter and had studied a parallel dimension called the Ghost zone while in high school. He and my adopted father worked on a device to see into the dimension but it actually opened a door for a moment, the energy pulse killed the machine and my real father left. My adopted dad looked at the machine and the built up ectoenergy jumped into his body, changing him. At first he had burns, rashes, bumps, you name it. His body took years to learn to regulate the energy. When my mom and sister died, Jack gave me to his best friend, Vlad Masters, hoping he could raise me. Vlad did and he used his tech to give me powers like his."
Sarah looked at me, her eyebrow still raised, so I sighed, "That's the watered down version."
