Maddy's POV

Since, I was already dressed I rush to the door when I trip on my coffee table. Giving me a small cut on my ankle. I immediately cover it with my hands. Which causes a purple light to laminate my hands. Then I am summoned to realty when I relied that if I am going to consider Jordan a friend I have to tell him. About my powers. The thought sickens me though but it's something to think about. Just in case so he doesn't think I am some freak if he finds out. I mean the government thought so. So why wouldn't other people.

Before going deeper in the thought I get up on my fully healed ankle and exit the door but locking it before I exit into the elevator.

Elevators always frightened me but needles did much more damage. The thought of it disturbs me. The way my parents died. Slowly but painful. The government made sure of it.

"It's like a wave of relief" I moan to myself after if opens.. Like I have been kept in a prison for 30 seconds.

------Walking to Starbucks-----

Jordan's POV

"Done a Ultra Modded Survival uploaded just for Maddy". Wait what? Why did I say that? Just for Maddy. For Maddy? The words tries to register in my brain. Do I like Maddy? We only just met Jordan. Then I rely that did I invite her on a date? To Starbucks? Really Jordan. Well maybe she likes Starbucks I mean she didn't protest when I asked. Well she's probably waiting for me let's just go. I grab my phone and lock my door.

Maddy's POV

I enter the closest Starbucks (which was down the street from my condo) and take a seat. Waiting for Jordan. I launch up YouTube and see Jordan posted a Ultra Modded Survival. I plug my headphones in and start watching it.

The next thing I know is Jordan walks in and says hi. I immediately unplug my headphones and turn off my phone.

"Hey Jordan"

"Whatcha watch'n?"

"Some Ultra Modded Survival"

"You like it so far?"

"Yeah. Well let's eat!"
