Part 2

I sat with Kaya at lunch, near Zakk's table. We sort of looked at them, nonchalantly, but I was still scared that they would see us. Kaya then started to speak.
"Mary-Jane, I found out the rest of the groups names."
My eyes widened and I ushered her to continue.
"Max, Ollie, Kevin, and I think Pruch and Cameron."
"We are so creepy!" I laughed. Kaya nodded and laughed. I glanced back at Zakk and sort of smiled.

After school, I went to Kaya's house and we went to watch the sunset, our faces lit by the dying sunlight glimmering off the sea. We took photos and ate fish and chips, laughing and goofing.
Once its dark, we go to Parmelia, a park, lit by only a singular street light, shining on a small hill. We went to go sit on the mound, playing with a water-bottle and just being dip-shits. Then I had an idea. I would message Zakk. On Snapchat. I'd ask him if he knew my friend Iggy, who I had see hang with them sometimes. Hopefully from there a conversation would arise. Then, Kaya decided to change everything.
"Oh yeah, Zakk lives right there," she said, pointing to a house on the other side of the park. "Yeah I saw it on Snapchat location."
My jaw dropped and I just knew I had to message him now.
"Hey. This might seem random, but do you know Iggy?" I messaged him, nervous and giggly. Kaya and I both laughed at our bravery and stupidity. Then, I felt my phone buzz in my hand.
"Yeah, I know him. Why?"
Kaya and I both looked at each other and screamed. We were finally talking to this strange year eleven that seemed so out of this world. Out of our world.
"Oh he's my friend and I'd just seen him hanging with you before." I messaged back, smiling. Then, for hours, I sat talking to him. Kaya and I went to IGA and that sat on a street in front of his house, laughing at how dumb and creepy we were. We knew that we weren't stalking anyone, because we just found this funny as fuck.

Then, as I walked away home, still messaging Zakk, I just shook my head at how quickly something you imagine can become reality.
