Abby's POV
"Moms you are dismissed girls I'm going to start the group rehearsal."
This week the girls are doing a contemporary piece intitled open waters, and I think that if the girls use there emotions and technique also as be great at there solo parts then this could be a winner.
"Nia point your toes, Paige sloppy, Mackenzie and Asia lie down."
"Ok so Nia for you solo part you are going to go over to the prop and to a shoulder stand."
Just as Nia is doing her solo part in rehearsal for the group, the prop goes on an angle and boom she falls off.
"Ow ow ow" Nia cries in pain. "Nia can you stand?" "No" "ok where does it hurt?" " my shoulder."
Nia's POV
"Ow ow ow." I cried in pain. I really do hope that I haven't hurt my shoulder too bad that I can't dance in the group this week because I love this number. My mom comes running down the stairs and into studio b. "Are you ok honey?" my mom asks me. "no, I was doing a shoulder stand on the prop and I fell down onto my shoulder" I cry. "Ok come into the den and we will have a look".
We walked into the den and Abby came as well. " I think that you and your mom should go to the doctors and see whats wrong, rather than us make you dance and it could be even more damaged."
Me and my mom went straight to the doctors and did what Abby suggested what we should do. we waited at least 15 minutes and then we went in. "hi how can I help you Nia?" the doctor asked. "I was doing a shoulder stand and I was doing it on a prop that was on an angle and I fell onto my shoulder." "ok so I'm guessing you are a dancer, am I right?" "yes she is and we go to a competition every week and she has a solo part this week so we were wondering if we could have an X-ray to see what is wrong with her shoulder?" my mother asked the doctor. " sure of course we can. so Nia do you just want to lie down in the bed and stay as still as you can please" the doctor instructed me.
"Ok so here we have the results. Not a broken shoulder but I'm saying that she can't dance for at least two weeks." The doctor said.
