He Can't be trusted

Yoongi did not trust the man standing in front of him. Sure he looked innocent and was quite good looking,to be honest, but Kim Taehyung had a reputation. He was known to be quite frickle with his loyalties. Tended to choose his own survival above everyone else. This made Yoongi quite alarmed about the boy working for them. Of course Namjoon, their leader, had thought it through and kept the kid at arms length from their home, but his presence made Yoongi quite uneasy. Yoongi hated, really hated people who could betray easily. Afterall, it reminded Yoongi of his asshole of a brother who betrayed him and left him to a fate worse than death.

 It was the main reason Yoongi had chosen BTS, their leader built the gang around the premises of wanting a real family. When Yoongi met Namjoon, he was with Seokjin, a male nurse who could screwed over because he was an illegitimate son of a rich ass family. Namjoon had saved and protected him, and made sure to bury the Seokjin family ties deep so no one could find him. All that remained was Jin. From the moment Yoongi saw the "couple" he could tell they were fiercely loyal to each other. It made sense why Namjoon would be loyal to Jin, but why Jin was loyal to Namjoon was not as evident, but Yoongi soon learned, Jin craved love and attention that he never received from his mother who bore the illegitimate child and hated it, or from a father who never dared to acknowledge it until he sent men to kill him.

Namjoon had been an honorable men with his dealings with Yoongi, kept every promise he made. Yoongi had started to trust the silver haired man more and more after observing his actions. The man never lost his cool, was smart, never dealt in drugs or sex, or harmed innocent people, if he could help it. Most would consider him weak in the world they lived in, but Yoongi found out soon enough why Namjoon was called RM- Raging Monster ( I know its not what it actually means, but for this story I am just going to go with this...sorry). Yoongi had scene the dangerous man emerge the minute Jin was threatened. He protected his own, always. However, when RM protected Yoongi without being asked to, Yoongi fought his cynical mind to once again trust and be loyal to another human being.

Soon, the family grew. With Yoongi bringing in Jimin. Jimin more like brought himself, after Yoongi saved him from a street gang trying to rape him. Jimin from then onwards started following Yoongi like a lost puppy and calling him hyung. Yoongi tried to scare him but nothing seemed to work with the kid, plus the kid did have skills. His small hands were experts at theft.  Picking pockets, locks and even distracting people came naturally to the kid, although the orange head had probably honed his skills on the streets to survive. Namjoon took an immediate liking to the kid, but Yoongi was still cautious. His caution soon gave away when he realized how the puppy truly started to think Yoongi was his owner and would do anything and everything for him. It was unsettling for Yoongi, but soon he got use to it as their relationship built into something real. 

Soon the duo of Jungkook and Hoseok -Better known as J-Hope, joined. J-hope was an underground hacker who got caught and in real trouble with another gang.  The only people that gang did not have scared or loyal to them was RM and Yoongi. JHope had come to RM begging and promising money. Begging not for himself, but for his younger brother, Jungkook, who was bleeding in his arms. Yoongi felt for the desperation in the man's eyes and so did Namjoon, not the mention the motherly instincts it woke in Jin when he saw the 18 year old boy bleeding on his door. From there, it only became more obvious that Jhope and JK would be joining, mainly because Jin had majorly adopted JK, who also grew excessively attached to Jin, although he would never admit or show it. No one would have known how he had felt had it not been for that one night when Yoongi had flung the lamp at Jin, expecting him to dodge it but he had not. It had hit Jin flat across the face, knocking him down. before Namjoon could even react, JK had jumped Yoongi and started throwing punches with a mantra of "don't you dare hurt him". Jin had to pull him off and assure him that he was okay. JK was attached to the hip with Jin until he was better. Not saying a word, but looking at him with big doe eyes, eyes that silently feared that Jin would suddenly disappear in front of his eyes. 

With addition of Jk and JHope, BTS was formed. Now, this boy, Kim Taehyung could endanger their existence. He was known to be quite conniving, manipulative and out for himself. Yoongi knew though, Namjoon was cautious with him too, since he had not allowed Kim Taehyung anywhere near Jin. Jin was not really part of the gang, but he was the one person that was center of their family. You would only meet Eomma Jin if you were trusted. Hell, Taehyung had been even kept away from Jimin and J-Hope. The only person he was allowed to meet was Yoongi, Namjoon and JungKook. Kook was more nonchalant than Yoongi, if that was possible, so there was no danger there, not to mention Kook had the most lethal physical skills in the group. Almost most lethal, Yoongi was still better with guns than KooK.

" Do you understand?" Namjoon finished, telling Kim Taehyung the task.

"I got you..." Smiled Taehyung slightly. Smiles that never seem to reach his eyes. 

Taehyung was a master of seduction and deception. He would get the information others could not, which is why they needed him. BTS needed his skills. Namjoon took this risk because they needed to know how much of BTS information had been leaked to their rival group.  Did they know about the location of their hideout? About each member's weakness?

Day of the Mission

Yoongi, Jimin and J-hope were sitting in the car monitoring, when things went wrong. Horribly wrong.

The rival gang, EXO, knew they were coming and set-up a trap. A trap that RM and Taehyung had stepped into. A trap fully planned for BTS because JHope could not track them, interference from someone from the other group, JK was also caught up, attacked alone on another mission causing the team to divide their attention to save their members. BTS was full on under attack.

Yoongi was panicking...they had managed to get JK but now they had completely lost track of RM.

He is still alive. I know it.He...has to be.

Complete silence filled the car as they made their way back home, to retreat, replan and look for their lost leader. There was that kid too, but Yoongi, could not care less about him at this moment. His family was in danger, and that is all he cared about.
