Somewhere in Vale...
Y/N groaned as she sat up in a bed that was indeed hers, but the room is what was odd. Instead of the dull grey walls she was used to, the walls around her were a calming blue, settling her nerves a slight bit. Her armor was laying the corner, freshly washed, and shined. Looking down, she saw herself in a (f/c) t-shirt and black shorts. Her eyes widened when she realized her guns were nowhere to be seen in the room. Bolting out of the bed, she grabbed her helmet and sent a distress signal out to her Titan, gasping when all she heard was static. She put on her armor and slid her helmet on, noticing a tablet device on the chair below her armor. The only thing on the screen was a play button, and the door and window revealed themselves to be locked when she tried them, so she went ahead and pressed the button. A man in a green suit and white hair appeared on the screen, holding a coffee mug.
"Ah, Miss L/N. I see you've woken up and found your armor. You may be wondering where you are. In this video, you will find out, but first, know that I am a friend. I am Professor Ozpin, headmaster of Beacon academy. You are in a dorm room here at Beacon, so do not be alarmed. The planet you are on is called Remnant, in a city called Vale. Beacon is a school that trains what you may call Pilots where you are from. Here, we call them Huntsmen and Huntresses."
Y/N was taken aback by this. This school trained Pilot-like people?! Did they have Titans?!
"We do not use machines to fight our enemies, but rather weapons with melee and ranged capabilities. You will find one in the weapon locker across from the door, along with the weapons you arrived with. Also, you're welcome for washing and shining your armor. Do you know how long it takes to get that much blood off of metal and out of cloth? Anyway, I'll contact you again shortly so keep this scroll. Welcome to Beacon, Miss L/N. Oh, and you'll find you can't reach your robot, it's currently being repaired."

|Y/N's POV|
-—————-I sigh as I set the scroll, or whatever that Ozpin guy called it, on the bed, looking across from the door. True to his word, a weapon locker was situated horizontally on the wall, a latch in the middle. Unlatching it, I smile when I see my weapons.
"There you are, babies."
I grab my B3 Wingman Elite, V-47 Flatline, and my Sidewinder. The Wingman and Flatline are my main weapons, the Sidewinder is Plan B. I also see the weapon Ozpin sent for me and grab it.
I see a note fall from behind the sword, as well as another compartment in the locker. I pick up the note and read it first, before I mess with whatever is in the compartment.
Miss L/N, I assume because you're reading this, whatever training you took to become a pilot has made you unnaturally cautious. The weapon you now hold has properties unlocked by a power source we call 'Dust'. The compartment behind the weapon contains ten vials each of the four core dust types as well as a crystallizer so you can actually use the Dust. Most weapons use the actual dust form, but some use crystals, such as yours. Please do not touch them, for your sake, until Miss Schnee teaches you more.
Until I contact you again,
Professor Ozpin.I crumple and throw the note before laying on the bed. Damn that Ozpin. Making me go through classes when I'm old enough to be out of high school. I'll make that old man see. Someone knocks on the door to my room, so I roll off the bed and open the door a small bit. Outside are a blonde woman and a girl around my age with white hair. Is that natural? I open the door all the way, taking my helmet off and ruffling my (h/c) hair. The blonde woman speaks first.
"Miss L/N, my name is Glynda Goodwitch, and the student behind me is Weiss Schnee. We'll be guiding you to Ozpin's office. He wants to speak in person this time."
I raise an eyebrow at Goodwitch's statement, before taking an earpiece out of my pocket and tuning it to ANGL-5830 frequency. "Tune to Angel's frequency, please." My helmet tunes the earpiece to her frequency, and shuts off. Putting the earpiece in, I turn to Goodwitch and Weiss. "Ready to go." Weiss stares at me before following Goodwitch, walking next to me.
"So...L/N, right? I'm Weiss Schnee. I'll be teaching you about Dust when you've settled in."
I nod, agreeing. "Yep. And you can call me Y/N. It feels weird being called L/N by someone not in my squadron."
She nods as well. "Sorry, Y/N. I'll be sure to remember that."
I make sure Goodwitch isn't listening, before whispering something. "So, where are the Titans stored at here? I need a place to store Angel when she's finished being repaired." She looks at me in confusion. "You know, Titans. Big, powerful, combat robots controlled by a person and an A.I.?" Her face tells me she has no idea what I'm talking about. "I'll show you when Angel's fixed."
"We're here." Glynda steps out of the elevator, revealing Ozpin himself. The man looks up from his scroll, and takes a sip from his mug. I step forward and give him a look. "Where's my Titan." He sighs and opens a video feed. The screen shows a group of people working on MY TITAN. I slam my fist down on Ozpin's desk. "WHY THE HELL ARE THEY NEAR MY TITAN?!" He calmly looks at me while responding. "Well, Miss L/N, while you were unconscious, your, ahem, Titan said that it was in critical condition and needed repairs. It gave us permission to work on it. I believe it said that not being repaired would conflict with protocol three." I sigh. "Protect the Pilot. Yeah, that's Angel, alright. Always looking out for me. Where is that feed coming from?" Oz looks at me in surprise. "The workshop. Why do you want to know?"
I tap my ear, and then point at Weiss. "I need to re-establish the neural link, and show Weiss what a Titan is in person. No offense, but video feeds don't do it justice." He nods and sends something from his scroll. I pull mine from my pocket and see a map of beacon on the screen. "Follow that and you'll find the warehouse in no time. And do make sure to take Miss Schnee." I smile at him. "Thank you, sir. Come on, Weiss." We head back down the elevator and start walking towards the warehouse. I'm practically skipping for two reasons. A; I get to see Angel, and B; I can show Weiss what she's missing out on. I'm so excited, I can't wait!
