The smell of oak fills my bedroom as I slowly get myself out of bed. As beams of sunlight enter my through my room window. My alarm that sounded not to long ago woke me up and now I'm getting ready to start the day. Well slightly anyways because my body feels like hell. Not to mention it only be six in the morning. Everyday I always set my alarm to wake me up early which gives myself plenty of time to prepare for the rest of the day. Except for weekends.
The names Nicole and currently studying my final year in high school with my best friend. Which we have already turned seventeen during the last few months. My brother finished his last year and to be honest have no idea what he now does with the rest of his time. And don't really care.
I'm currently living with my family in a small neighbourhood in a two story house. Very good looking and stylish inside and out. We have a nice white pathway that leads to the garage and drive way. Which currently has my brothers car parked outside. With a view of the entire forest stretching far and wide. Beautiful and exotic place to live by. At the end of this street is the old run down building which has been boarded up for many many years. No one ever goes there. Makes me wonder why.
My parents work extremely hard to provide such a place so it's really a privilege to live in such a place. My farther works as a lawyer while my mother works the day shift as a nurse. In the local small hospital. Even though we rarely see them throughout the day I truly still care for them. When they come home they start their usual conversations with me then I head off to bed. That's just our daily routine.
Even my room has expensive taste though I never usually show it. My large bedroom holds one king size bed with a small cupboard on the left size. With a small bedroom lamp on top of it. There is also a large wardrobe beside a table that holds my makeup and a small mirror. I never put too much makeup on my skin as I already appreciate how and look with my appearance and feel like theres nothing wrong. A couple of feet away from my bed there is a window looking out to the front street. My curtains are obviously closed as I never leave them open during these hours. Especially when I'm changing as you never know who might peep through my bedroom windows. Can never be too careful.
Letting out a small yawn I tap my phone to check the time. Focusing on the screen it shows me that it's currently 6:30 am. Realising the the time I jump out of bed quickly I walk towards my wardrobe and brought out a white T-shirt, a black jacket and ripped blue jeans. Then casually took off my PJ's. Changing into the cloths I quickly brought out.
"Hmm what to do next?" I mumbled sitting back down on my bed. Getting dressed I easily done so what else could be done. A loud buzz echoed from my side table next to my small bedroom lamp. Which was carefully centred on my side table next to the bed.
Another buzz came from the same spot. Looking at the direction the sound was coming from I realise it was my phone. Reaching towards it I tapped on the screen. Showing the text notifications that was on the screen.
It was coming from Jesse! One and only best friend that has been with me since the beginning of high school. It reads...
"Jesse: Wake up sleepy head!""
"Jesse: Hey you there?!"
"Jesse: Helloo?!"I let out a small laugh from Jesse methods of trying to wake me up. Although I already was. Unlocking my phone i quickly send her a reply.
"Me: Calm down! I'm already awake LOL"
"Jesse: Oh! Sorry! Couldn't help myself!"
"Me: It's okay! I have a few things that needs to be done before school."
