The Zodiac Mission

Chapter 2 [Powers?!]

     Taurus was sitting in the lounge room, debating if she should make breakfast or if one of the other 11 people would be willing to. She turns on the TV and sees two people enter the lounge room, it was a very angry looking Pisces and an Aquarius with very dark bags underneath her eyes that looked like she hasn't slept in a week. Pisces sat down next to Taurus and started watching the TV which was playing F.R.I.E.N.D.S, while Aquarius walked straight to the kitchen. Well that answered Taurus's question.

     "What do y'all want chocolate chip and blueberry pancakes or cinnamon rolls? Either one will have a side of eggs, sausages, and hash-browns." Aquarius asked, digging through the pantry.

     "Pancakes!" Taurus and Pisces said simultaneously. Aquarius chuckled and started her cooking. By the time it was done everyone was here except Sagittarius and Virgo.

     "Come get your food." Aquarius yelled across the room. Everyone got up and rushed to the food. "Y'all better share! And leave some for Sagittarius and Virgo."

     "You know you are like the mom out of us?" Taurus asked her lifetime best friend. Aquarius's eyes widened and she started shaking her head.

    "Nooooo. I am not going to be stuck taking care of 11 people already. My dorm-mates act like babies, I couldn't sleep because they were bickering until 2 am by then I wasn't tired. So I've been up all night, it's a great start to the first day of school." Aquarius rolled her eyes. Then the final two people entered the room, glaring at each other and immediately grabbing the rest of the food, which wasn't much.

    "Speak of the devils." Pisces said from the other side of Taurus. Aquarius nodded a sour look on her face. Taurus checked her watch.

     "We only have a half hour until our first class. I have no idea where Villain Learning is." Taurus said worrying it a bit.

     "We can start heading now, just follow me I know where it is." Pisces responded. They stood up and headed towards the door, taking their backpacks that were thrown messily by the door. They got there with 5 minutes to spare. All 6 Villains got there on time and the professor walked in.

    "Hello I am Mr. Owen, your Villain Learning professor. I will be handing you a vile please drink it when I tell you to. You will also be getting one in your element class. This is what will give you your powers. You will have two powers a 'villain' power and your element power. So for example Cancer would have a villain power and a water power while Gemini will have a villain power and an air power. Then a hero like Capricorn would have a hero power and an earth power." Mr. Owen had already passed his 6 students the vile. "You may drink now, everyone's taste different, some taste like chocolate, others don't..."

Taurus drank her vile, it tasted sour like lemons, she felt like she was drinking straight lemon juice. She felt sick to her stomach and she was not happy. Meanwhile Gemini's tasted like dirt, he almost wondered dirt was't in his vile, just smoothed out. It wasn't good by any means but Gemini felt like he could have had worse. Cancer's didn't taste like a single thing, not even water, because she knows the different tastes of water and this wasn't it, this was air flavored liquid. Leo was enjoying the taste of his, the taste was carrot cake. Carrot cake was actually Leo's favorite type of cake, this was like his birthday came early. Virgo's on the other had a metal taste to it, it took her a minute to put her finger on the taste. Once she figured it out, she was half mortified. Did someone just give her dyed blood? Lastly, Pisces's tasted like cake donuts, Pisces grimaced, he hated cake donuts, they didn't even taste like cake.

"Okay,you are going to tell me what you tasted, that will reveal your power." Mr. Owen said after about 3 minutes. "Cancer, you first.'

"Well, mine didn't taste like anything. Like it was an air flavored liquid." Cancer sheepishly responded. Leo chuckled at her sentence, an air flavored liquid.
