part 1

It was finally summer and you were excited. You were currently headed to your grandmas house for a family dinner.

Bring bring.

Your phone rang. You checked who was calling and then quickly answered it. "Grandma! What's up?" You asked as you continued to drive. "I was just calling to make sure you're on your way. Are you?" She asked. Your grandma had been calling you more lately to check up on you, but you didn't mind.

"Yes grandma I'm on my way. Don't worry~ I'll be there soon." You reassured her. "Okay honey, see you when you get here. Bye bye!" She said then hung up before you could bid her goodbye. You chuckled and then turned on the music. "To grandmas house I go!" You said as you drove.

There were tons of cars parked outside of the house that it was hard to find a close parking spot. Luckily your grandma had told you where a secret parking spot was for a time like this. You drove to that spot and smiled when you didn't see it was taken.

You grabbed the gifts you brought for her and yoongi and got out of the car. You locked it as soon as you got out and then headed towards the front door. You still couldn't get over the fact that your grandma lived in a mansion. She did own her own company after all.

You rung the doorbell and then waited for the door to open. After a minute or so the door finally opened and a unwelcoming face appeared. It was your aunt Martha. "Ahh auntie, it's been a while huh?" You smiled at her but she only kept her blank face, she didn't even smile a little bit.

"Oh Y/N. I see you've made it." She opened the door a bit wider. You walked past her and into the living room where everyone was. You heard your aunt clear her throat from behind you. "Excuse me, everyone. Y/N has arrived, now we can begin the party." Your aunt announced.

You turned a slight shade of red, embarrassed that everyone was waiting on you. "I'm sorry.." You said, but they simply ignored you. It wasn't until your grandma came up to you that your aunt smiled. "Finally Y/N, you made it!" Your grandma said as she embraced you in a hug.

"Grandma I've missed you so much!" You hugged her back. You heard your aunt scoff a bit but you ignored her. "Y/N come follow me, I can't handle your mothers family." She whispered into your ear. You laughed a bit and then followed her to the kitchen. There were only a couple of your family members in there, but as soon as you entered they exited.

"I can't handle these fakes anymore Y/N." Your grandma admitted. "I know I know, but what can we do they're family." You shrugged. "By the way, where is yoongi?" You asked. She immediately smiled. "Oh! He's in his room steering clear of all your little cousins." You nodded your head.

"Is he in his cat form?" She nodded. You laughed, yoongi is always in his cat form around your family since you and your grandma are the only ones that know he is a hybrid.

When you were a young girl you had found out about hybrids from your grandma and grandpa. They had to tell you since you saw yoongi in his human form. From then on you studied about hybrids with your grandpa.

One day you were playing with yoongi when your grandma came rushing to you. That's when your grandmas world had broken. Your grandpa had past away due to saving a hybrid on his way home.

Smiling sadly at your grandma you remembered that you had brought her a gift. "Oh I almost forgot! I brought you a gift." You grabbed the bag and handed it to her with a smile on your face. "You didn't have to.." She said as she took the gift. "No.. but I wanted to." Urging her to open the gift she finally did, then she gasped.

"Oh honey, I love it! Thank you!" She engulfed you in a hug once more. As she pulled back she had tears in her eyes. You wiped them away. "Don't cry grandma.." You hated seeing her cry. "Thank you Y/N.. this is exactly what your grandpa had." She said as she looked at the gift once more. You had gifted her a necklace that was similar to that of your grandpas.

"Okay, no more crying. I'm going up to see yoongi. I'll see you in a bit." She nodded in response and you headed upstairs. You walked up to his bedroom door, where you assumed he'd be, and knocked. When you didn't hear a response you told him it was you. "Yoongs I'm coming in." With that you walked in and saw a sleeping cat on the bed.

Walking up to the bed you laid the gift next to him, not wanting to wake him up. "What a sleepy kitty. You're always hiding from my family." You chuckled at your comment. You were about to leave when you heard him speak up. "Don't call me kitty." Smiling to yourself you turned around to yoongi no longer in his cat form.

"Can I call you lil meow meow instead?" Yoongi blushed at your statement then threw a pillow at you. You couldn't help but laugh. You loved to tease yoongi and he knew that. "Fuck no, never again. I can't believe you called me little meow meow when we were kids, it's so embarrassing you little shit." He put his face in his hands as he remembered the nickname you gave him.

"What?~ it was a cute nickname, still is." You said as you smiled and walked towards him. Earning a glare from him you decided to caress his ears. "Is it that embarrassing?" You asked. He nodded his head then let out a small purr. You knew he enjoyed you scratching his ears, so you continued to do that.

Before you could speak someone called for you. "Y/N! Where are you? It's time for dinner!" As you retreated your hand from yoongi's ears he turned back into his cat form. You gave him a small smile and pointed at the gift bag. "See you later yoongs." Then you were out the door and headed to the dining room.

This is my first time writing a hybrid au. Hopefully it's not terrible and you enjoyed reading it.
