The red-eyed monsters

Lurking in the darkness

Creeping in the shadows

Are the whisperers.

Waiting for someone to let their guard down so they can feast on their prey.

A certain whisperer was leaning against the brick wall in a dark alleyway, just ....waiting.

Whisperers thrive off of helpless minds that most victims possess, they adore the pain and suffer that they inflict on others and they can't help but want more. But who can blame them, it's their job?

Sagittarius pulled out a cigarette from his pocket and places the Tabaco in between his lips. it was an old habit that he picked up during his victim days. Those who have died from the hands of the whisperer instantly becomes one themselves. Cursing those with delicate minds to work in favor of death.

The original name given to them was "the reapers echo" but Aries thought that "the whisperers" sounded more fitting and badass.

Up against the wall, further away from sag was a boy pleading for forgiveness to a skimpy looking lady with heels higher than her standards.

"Little boy~ pay up on way or the other"

The curvy girl slurped, clearly drunk. She pressed a gun to his chest, forcing him to reply.

"Y-y-you said that...that the money was d-due tomorrow"

The younger boy stuttered out, sag decided to watch the scene unfold before him as he could hear the thumping of the boy's heart.

"Your families pathetic, your mother abandoned you, your sister committed suicide and your father dumped all of his bills on you before getting thrown into a loony house"

Tears were pouring out of the younger boys eyes; he was unable to control his emotions any longer. sag couldn't help but feel guilty about his sister, the girl from yesterday all of the things he said to her was false, they were lies, rehearsed lines and yet they cut deeper the knives.

Unable to continue to negotiate with the lady, seeing her visibly become inpatient sag noticed her finger tugging at the trigger, Sagittarius acted on his own.

He touched the woman's forehead, slowly fading away and interring her mind.

Her eyes widened as a single tear slipped down her cheek, her heart trembled as her insides shook. The boy was both frightened and confused as his abuser's action. The women screamed out a pained cry as she dropped her gun and clutched onto her chest.

"I don't...I don't want to be here! i-i-i don't want to w-wear this!"

She hurried to her gun and placed it to her temple.

"i don't want you! "

Was her final words as Sagittarius left her mind. Scorpio stood behind him as he collected the soul.

"She was the one destined to die anyway. The boy had a dagger in his pocket"

Sagittarius sighed at the comment, was that supposed to make him feel better?

"Fate seems to change like a flick of a switch, one minute your bright and happy and the next your worlds dark and dead"

Scorpio huffed as he turned to smoke and drifted away. Sag dropped his cigarette to the ground as a female with pitch black heels stood on it, putting it out.

"Gemini...it's been awhile"

The beautiful whisperer's smirk stretched across her face similar to the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland. Her smile Malicious and filled with trouble.

"Oh, hehe I missed your company. Sagittarius"

His fingertips wrapped themselves around her waist as if on instinct.

"Truth be told, I missed you dearly, Love"

A normal person would think that these interactions were just flirty and cute. But love is something that a whisperer could only imagine to obtain. The closes thing to love is lust to whisperers, this being because their ruler is both Scorpio and Aries. The devil bestowed the gift of whisperers to death to help him with his endless deeds of soul collecting whilst Virgo rules over guardians that protect certain victims, to Virgo's disappointment, unlike Scorpio, Virgo does not have full ownership over the guardians, but they would be wise to obey her or else the consequences are severe.

Reds eyes peered into another pair of red eyes.

"So, how many kills do you have now? Princess"

Pet names were Gem's weakness and sag enjoyed abusing her in that way.

"I still have the high score babe, number one"

Gemini chuckled as Sagittarius grip faltered for a brief second before composing himself.

"They don't call you "nightmare" for no reason, I suppose"

Gemini's red eyes glowed as she quickly retaliated

"Don't act so innocent darling, you're quite the monster yourself"

Facts were facts, Sagittarius couldn't deny the truth. But there was a slight hope that maybe, just maybe, if Sagittarius could get someone with power to listen to him, then he might have a chance to break away from these chains that held him bound.

Scorpio would never let his pawns escape him and Virgo would only tell Scorpio. Getting an appointment with Libra would take way to long and Aries would just behead him a thousand times and more. A guardian was his only chance of successes.
