Josette's POV,

Shortly after Lorena left there was a knock on the door. When I opened it, there was a tall blonde guy standing there smiling. "Hey there, I'm Jackson, Blood Moon's Beta." He introduced.

I smiled remembering his face all too well. "Oh! I assume you're here to apologize for being a prick this morning when you shot me with a tranquilizer gun?" I folded my arms.

He brought his head down smiling before lifting both his hands up. "I'm really sorry about all that. I was just following orders. You're Cordelia right?" He asked.

"I don't remember her. Just call me Josette." I stated.

He gave me a confused look "Okay... well! I was told to take you over to the pack house. My Alpha wants to meet you. Apparently you're very famous." He finished.

I didn't give him any hard time; I just followed behind him as he led the way. As we walked through the pack, I saw children running around, other men and women were about, doing their own things. At one side, there were a couple of men wrestling each other, and training. Some shifted wolves were running around every so often as well. Damn, wolves' were really active creatures.

"Well Ms. Josette, this is us." Jackson said as he opened the door of their pack house for me.

I'm not one to fascinate too much over houses, but I can say, this was an extremely fancy and modern building. Once again we passed some people in the living room, and the hall. As we passed by them, they all went quiet as they stared at me. Finally we reach a huge wooden door, painted black. Jackson knocked once, and it was opened. There was a young man sitting at his desk with his face in a book named 'The Originals.'

"Finally you're here." He said as he flipped the page of the book in front of him. Jackson had then asked if he needed to stay in which he was told not to. Jackson closed the door behind him.

"So when Lorena said I could stay here, did that really mean I was a prisoner?" I blurted out.

The guy put down his book and looked up at me. "You are not a prisoner Cordelia. You are our guest here, ordered by my King and Queen." He stated. His name was Josiah Maddox; He was Blood Moon's Alpha.

I tilted my head to the side. "Why is everyone calling me Cordelia? I know it's my birth name, but I'm not her anymore. Please Alpha, call me Josette from now on." I corrected him with a smile.

He gave me a smirk as he got up from his chair. He stalked over to me until he was standing in front of my small frame. "This book is about you and your family. It has everything about your parents, your origin, the history of the vampire race, and all your siblings. You are a fascinating being Josette, the last pure-blood." He stared at me in awe. "I'm honored to meet you." He finished.

I just stood there looking at his face; I unintentionally began to check him out. He was handsome, with his thick black hair combed back. He was probably in his 20's. His bright green eyes stared right back at mine. I coughed the moment we were having away.

"I'm a vampire. I thought wolves didn't like my kind." I told him.

He shrugged "Time has changed. Vampires and wolves are at peace now. Plus, like I said, you are extremely fascinating and might I add... extremely beautiful too." He gave me that beautiful, million dollar boyish smile.

I could be wrong, but now it feels like he was flirting way too much. Then it hit me, he probably doesn't have a mate yet. If he did, she would have been here already, and he wouldn't be trying to get so close to me right now. Josiah finally walked me outside to the living room area of the pack house, where more of his pack members were still walking around. He introduced me to some of his pack members, mostly the higher ranks. Not too long after we had finished talking, Jackson came back to remind Josiah about some meeting he is to have with another pack tonight. Josiah grumbled that there just wasn't enough time in the day, and that too many things have already occurred in just this one day. He told Jackson to get the meeting pushed back for tomorrow morning instead.
