How Fate Took Me To Him

“You can’t d-do this,” I stuttered “it’s not right.”

He looked straight at me with his beautiful, but terrifying, face and smiled. “I’m not going to do anything. I’m going to wait until you realize that you want this just as much as I do.”

“Then you’re going to have a long wait, I’m not going to do this. Especially not with you.” I said, fear still in my voice.

He sighed; “I’ve got forever.” he shrugged to himself and kissed my neck again.

Now here’s what’s going on…

I’m in a bed with only a bra, underwear, and a practically see though robe on. There’s a vampire determined to have sex with me, ‘the right way’, so when I’m pregnant I’ll love him, or something of that sort. Then turn me into a vampire as soon as I’ve had my baby. You want to know how I got into this position. Well here’s how…

I’m outside my new apartment in El Paso, Texas watching the sunset, with out a care in the world. Then I hear someone right next to me sigh, and when I say right next to me I mean right next to me. I had not heard anyone walk up to me, but there he was.

I jump when I hear the sigh, then gasp when I see who it is next to me. The man I was running away from, James. Well, not man per-say, but a vampire who happens to be a guy.

“Hello” He says, “nice to see you again. Did you really think you could run away from me and not get caught?”

I gulped, knowing I can’t get away, but so want to run for my life. “Why can’t you just leave me be? I don’t want to become one of you. I’ve told you that. So why can’t you leave me alone?” I asked

“Honey, I can’t stay away from you, as I have told you, your blood smells to good for me to stay away.” He smiled at me, which should have taken my breath away but only scared me half to death.

“Then… why don’t you just kill me now and get it over with. I’m tired of running and I’m tired of being scared silly at every break of a twig I hear. So go on kill me, get it over with.”

I prepared my self to die and was surprised to hear him laugh at me. “Jessie, I already told you, I don’t want to kill you. I just want to make you mine… forever.”

He reached out and touched my face, I flinched away, I had no idea what he was going to do to me before he either killed me or turned me into a vampire and I didn’t want to know.

“Please,” I shuttered “don’t do this to me. Let me go.” I knew it was hopeless but I had to try something.

He looked at me with a hint of pity in his deep red eyes and said “You know as well as I do that I’m not going to do that.” He grabbed my arm and pulled me into my apartment, then closed the door behind us. “Now, I’m going to pack your bags, while you get ready to leave, ok. I’ll be done in a moment so go on.” he waved for me to go.

“Where are you taking me?” I asked really scared now.

“ It’s a surprise,” he said, “so go on and get ready before I come over there and,” he smiled “ help you.”

I started to put on my socks and shoes then went to the bathroom to brush my hair and pee so I didn’t end up wetting my self next time James scared me. Obviously, I didn’t want his help.

“Oh Jessie,” he called, “you done? I’m ready to leave.”

“Just…” my voice came out wrong so I started again, “just a minute James. A girl really has to go after she has been scared half to death.” I tried to sound angry but my voice just sounded weak and scared. I took a deep breath and walked out of the bathroom.
