The decision to commit

It was early one morning, late June. My beautiful boyfriend, Liam lay beside me, just waking up. I looked over to him and smiled. He was insanely beautiful and sweet. I lay there beside him playing with his big hands and touching his soft chest. At one point, I remembered what we had talked about yesterday. I wasn't happy for the longest time because I wanted LOVE, not sex. I told Liam that if I was willing to love him and dedicate my life to him, but if he didn't stop seeing the other girl, I was as good as gone. What I was saying resonated with Liam, I could see it in his face when we were talking.

I finally go out of bed, took a shower, made my breakfast and coffee and started getting ready for the day, as I had a lot of stuff to do. While I was drinking my coffee, I was mindlessly scrolling through FaceBook. I scrolled past a post with Liam announcing to the whole world how he was breaking up with that other girl we were just fighting about. My mouth dropped because I realized: "Liam is keeping his promise." I looked at Liam and said: "Did you break up with her because of me?" Liam looked at me confidently and said: "yes, Delaney I am ready to commit to you." Liam listened to me and now nothing would tear us apart.
