A very good looking brown hair woman was drinking in the sea air. The sea breeze gave life to the white sails of the young woman's ship. The crew was bustling around the ship working hard at keeping the royal ship in working order. The brown hair woman looked out to the sea with her light blue eyes burning with passion. How she loved the sea. At sea she felt free; she did not need to worry about her princely duties or anything. Here all the sailors are her friends and they don't treat her any differently than they do each other.
"Prince Korra, we really should not be out in the sea. We should be back at the palace figuring out which woman you will be marrying." A bald head man said. The man's most striking figure was his large blue arrow tattoo's that was right on his head and body. No matter how many times Korra asked the man, he would never tell her what they mean.
"Oh lighten up, Tenzin. We are out in the sea let us enjoy it!" Korra yelled as she began to climb the ship's mast. The sea was breath taking. Korra climbed down from the mast and was greeted by her dog. "Hey, Naga, you love the sea just as much as I do huh?" Naga let out a loud bark of agreement to her master as Korra petted her. Naga's white fur was so soft against her hands.
"Prince Korra, we really need to find a wife for you. How will you rule the kingdom without one?" Korra rolled her eyes at her caretaker's antics. She knew Tenzin truly cares for her, but all the princesses just did not sit right with her. They were not what she was looking for; she wanted someone who was kind, thoughtful, and would always be there for her, cheering her on. She needed that if she was going to rule the city of Public right. "Let's go over the princesses you have met..."
"Ugh. Princess Ty-lee was too superficial. She only cared about her looks and hot girls, so I don't want her as my bride. Princess Kuvira was way too into weapons, and her precision with them was insane, but that was all she cared about. Princess Mai was scary. She was a peace advocate which is good, but she was a little too much for me." She said still petting Naga. Tenzin let out an exasperated sigh. At this rate she is going to effectively eliminate every princess from being her wife. Tenzin thought.
"Why don't you stop thinking about that wife problem and watch the sea! She is mighty fine today isn't she, Prince Korra?" One of the sailors said to Korra trying to save her from the complicated world of political marriages. "King Hiroshi must be in a friendly mood today."
"King Hiroshi? What are you talking about, Mako?" Korra asked looking up at the young looking black haired man with curiosity in his eyes.
"Yeah King Hiroshi, ruler of the merpeople, thought every good sailor knew about him." Mako said with almost a smirk on his face. Tenzin shook his head.
"Don't pay attention to this nautical nonsense, Prince Korra." Tenzin said with a hint of superiority in his tone. Mako glared at the man before continuing his story of King Hiroshi.
"King Hiroshi lives fathoms below in the ocean where he and his children live with all the merfolk. He controls the sea using his triton."
"Triton? What is that?" Korra asked. Mako opened his mouth to explain it but was cut off by another sailor who wore sunglasses.
"A triton is a mystical scepter that looks like a fork, but has the power over the ocean." The sailor answered. Mako nodded in agreement.
"Thank-you, Bolin, for your explanation." Korra said as she turned to look at the ocean with new found admiration. I wonder what it is like fathoms below in the ocean.
