The sky as fallen
And a sandstorm is rising
in colors of bleeding hearts for the whole desert to see
The blinding heat of the Sun is still here though
and tiny insignificant grains of insult pummel and suffocate me
The camels are unaffected
closing their eyes and withstanding the storm
Somehow, I managed to survive that and the sun begins to set
The coolness soothes my burns
and now the desert doesn't seem so bad
But it is more lethal than I imagined
scorpions lurk, invisible in the curtains of night
the burns are gone, but now I'm freezing
Slowly, coolness paralyses my body
I didn't prepare for this. I can't see the exit.
Why did I think I could manage to survive this desert?
There is an oasis at the end of the desert called success.
All I have to do is reach it.
A sign of a shiny motel appears
"Welcome to Cybervalley Hotel : of the bystanders, for the bullied, by the bullies- a final resting place in the High School desert"
A/N: I completed my poetry book, so I kind of put it here. Hope you like it.
