"WHAT?"

I flinched as Yoonhee eonnie started screaming. "They can't do that to you! They're the one who offered you that allowance, now they're taking it from you? That's absurd! How about training?!"

As soon as I went back to the studio, I told them my situation. And as usual, Yoonhee eonnie is pissed.

"Relax eonnie, manager-nim said I will work for only 5 hours a day. I can do that. Besides, my salary there will be bigger than the allowance the company was giving me. You know what that means?" I grinned at them letting them guess.

"More clothes shopping?" Sojin exclaimed.

"No dummy. More food to sneak! We will have more money for ramyeon and choco pie!"

We clapped and cheered for our future food when Yoonhee interrupted. "But still, that 5 hours is still 5 hours. We can practice our dance within those time."

That's true. But we can't do anything about that. I thought but didn't really have the courage to speak.

"I will get some water. All those talking made me thirsty." I said then went out our studio.

Oh one of my nicknames is walkout queen. I walk out when situations are uncomfortable for me or when I am super pissed. Don't we all?

My comfort zone is the company's rooftop. That's where I go whenever I walk out or if I just want to unwind. But before reaching the rooftop you will have to pass first the male trainees training studio.

There's 9 male trainees in our company and I don't know them all. I only know three.

Jaeyong oppa. He was the one who taught me everything about the company. Why, do you ask? When I entered Whats It there are 10 female trainees including me. But the same year I became a trainee they debuted the other 9 so there were really no other girls to accompany me. There were no other choice but to pick another trainee and Jaeyong oppa is the most trustworthy.

Jessie. The youngest male trainee. He is just so cute you just cannot stop and talk to him. He has this cute braces and a cute laugh. I really want him to be my younger brother.

Dongyoon. The devil.

Dongyoon and I are really not on bad terms but we are really not on good terms, either. We are in the middle. Neutral. Casual as others call it. We really don't mind each other on regular days but when quarterly showcase are approaching he can be really, really annoying. I don't know what's his deal with me because he seems nice to all, well for the exception of me.

Ever since he became a trainee a year ago, it has become his habit to compete with me during showcase. He will compare our performance scores and brag when his score is higher than me and will glare at me when I'm higher than him. Apparently, I became his rival without me allowing it.

I was making my iced coffee in the pantry before I went up to the rooftop when a familiar voice spoke behind me.

"Coffee for the jitters, I see. You know we are ready to eat that hanwoo set. I suggest you stop dreaming for a hanwoo party because that will never happen." The effin devil is here.

"Hmm Dongyoon-ssi," I turned around to face him "I don't doubt you will not eat hanwoo. All of us knows you can buy a hanwoo set for all of the male trainees. Why don't you buy now and accept the future defeat that is waiting in front of you?"

I smiled widely at him before making my way out the pantry not bothering to hear his response. I hope the showcase will finish soon, I'm tired of acting strong in front of him.

The wind at the rooftop makes me relax. I sat on the floor overlooking the city. Even though I only have 5 minutes to be carefree like this, I'm still thankful for the short time.

Then a text pulled out all the relaxed cells in me.

"This is the number of the head driver. You will be starting tomorrow. The service will pick you up at 1pm. Behave yourself and remember what I told you.
