Old Friends

Kenzie's POV

I saw, Lauren. But, also Annie. That's not the worse part. Johnny. I love Lauren and Annie so much it's just, Johnny!

"What are you guys doing here?" I asked; rudely.

"Uh, Family trip. Plus the Leblanc's came along." Lauren explained; kinda.

"No, what are you doing at my school?" I almost shouted.

"Geez, we were here because my aunt is a teacher here. And we just came to say hi to her." Annie explained.

I was about to talk until I heard Brynn and Jojo coming. So I turned my back to Annie, Lauren, and Johnny. "Hey girls." I greeted them with a smile on my face.

"Hey Kenz! Who are they?" Jojo and Brynn asked at the same time.

"Um, just two of my friends from Canada and one of my friend's brother. So, I need to go meet up with Maddie and her friends. Can you get the rest of my new students?" I asked and they nodded.

"So, you wanna meet up after dance?" Brynn asked.

"Sure! I have tons of homework to do anyway. So why won't you two come to my house?" They nodded in agreement then I turned back to my 'Canada friends'.

"So, how have you been?" Annie asked.

"Great! I'm loving LA. But I do miss you guys. Well, most of you guys." I said then end as I shot a glare to Johnny.

"Well, we missed you too. But what did you mean by dance?" Lauren asked.

"Oh nothing. Um, I have to get going. Maybe we could meet up soon?" I said as I started to back away. They gave me a thumbs up and then I just put on a fake smile then ran to Maddie.

After school, I went to dance and after a few hours of dance, Brynn and Jojo came with me to the recording studio since it's my first time and I am singing a duet with someone. They said that the person I'm singing with is from out of town and his friends are coming.

"Hey Kenz!" My singing coach greeted me as I sat down next to her.

"Hey Kate. So, who's the person I'm working with?" I asked; anxious for the answer.

"Well, he's from Canada. Actually the same town from you. His name is-" Then I saw him. What is he doing here? "Ah! Johnny! Glad you could make it!" Kate yelled as she gave him a hug. They released. "Oh! This is Mackenzie. And Mackenzie this is Johnny. Your partner." What! This is THE worst day!

"Johnny Vincent Orlando. Well. Well. Well. If I say it's nice to see you. That would be a lie. And I don't like lies." I sassed at him with my arms crossed.

"Kenz, just let it go." Brynn whispered in my ear. She knows how bad of a day it's been. First my old friends come back. Second I didn't get a solo for dance. And third! Right now!

Brynn sat me down and gave me water. "I can't do this." I whispered to myself, then stood up and ran out the door; into my car. I drove; not home. But to my dance studio. Since dance practice is done for the day, I could just use a room and dance.

I arrived and got into the studio. I put on my music and started to dance. Dance relaxes me and calms me. No not slow dance. Hip hop helps me.

As I danced, I ignored all my calls, texts, etc. I just danced my thoughts away.
