Ch 10

It was midnight when Jiyeon woke up. She checks her phone first thing. She sees a text from Jungkook.

Kookie💕: We need to talk. Meet me at the park @ 4:20 pm.

Jiyeon was confused. Maybe it was about him apologizing to her but she had this uneasy feeling. She shook her thoughts and slept again.

The next morning she woke up feeling a bit better. She did her morning routine and took the medicine.

She goes to work and gets ready to train her students. She didn't see Jeongguk which she was confused, but she didn't think much.

She continues teaching her students about the moves in fighting.

Jeongguk was in his room not wanting to go to work. He didn't feel quite well and he already contacted Yoongi. He was about to sleep when he heard a knock at his door.

He opens it and sees Jungkook. "What do you want?" Jeongguk said coldly. "Lisa wants to talk to you. She's in the living room." Jungkook said.

Jeongguk closes the door and changed his outfit and fix himself before going downstairs. He sees Lisa and sits next to her. He wraps his arm around her waist.

Jungkook was next to them and he look away clenching his fist. "Lisa baby what is it that you want to talk to me about?" Jeongguk said in a sweet voice.

Lisa pushes his arms away. "I'm getting married with Jungkook." Lisa said. Jeongguk's smile disappeared. "M-married?" Jeongguk said.

Lisa nodded and grabs Jungkook's hand. "We both are getting married the next day. We have send invitations yesterday. But we're both giving it to you personally." Lisa said.

"Was this an arranged marriage?" Jeongguk said. Lisa nods. "Even if I didn't want to I have to." Lisa said. Jeongguk scoffed. "You had the choice Lisa. You also wanted to marry Jungkook. It's obvious." Jeongguk said.

"That's not true." Lisa said. "I'm not that stupid. I seen everything, including you two having sex in the fucking car!" Jeongguk yelled in anger. Jungkook and Lisa were shocked.

"Don't need to lie to me anymore. I know everything. If you two want to get married then go ahead. If you're happy then I won't interfere." Jeongguk said as he gets up.

"Love each other, don't need to worry about anyone else." Jeongguk said before turning away and leaving out of the house.

It was 4:10 pm. Jiyeon gets in a bus smiling can't wait to see Jungkook. Once she reaches the park it was exactly 4:20. She gets off the bus and sees Jungkook.

She walks across the street and walks approaching Jungkook from behind. She backs hug him and takes in his scent. "Kookie I'm here." Jiyeon said.

Jungkook turns around and meets Jiyeon. He pulls her away gently. She was confused. "I wanted to tell you something." Jungkook said.

Jiyeon nods. "Tell me then Kookie. I'll listen because I'm here." Jiyeon said. Jungkook nods. "I-I'm getting married." Jungkook said.

Jiyeon's smile disappeared. She felt her world falling apart. "W-with who?" Jiyeon said. Jungkook could sense that she was hurt.

"L-Lisa." He said. Jiyeon immediately makes contact with Jungkook. Her heart broke and burned. "You didn't deny did you?" Jiyeon asked him.

He hesitated but shakes his head. "So the reason I couldn't call you yesterday, the reason you didn't remember our anniversary, was because you were with Lisa. Because you forgot me. Because you never cared for me." Jiyeon said.

Jungkook was about to speak but Jiyeon spoke. "All along I was right. It was true. You were starting to like her. Everything I did meant nothing to you. That's why you could throw away all those time we had together for her." Jiyeon said.

"I just wanted to invite you to your wedding." Jungkook said ignoring her words and hands her the invitation. "Please come." He said looking at her.

Jiyeon takes it and smiles bitterly. "I will." She said and turn around. "I'm sorry." Jungkook said looking at her back. "There's nothing to be sorry about. I'm not the one you love so that's that." Jiyeon said.

She then walked away from Jungkook, from the person she loved more than herself.

Tears fell one by one down her cheeks. Jungkook watches her walks away. He didn't stop her. He was hurt to see her like that but he didn't admit.
