Madeline's POV
I wake up to my alarm at 7:30 AM I of course hit the snooze button until 10:30 lmao I officially get up and shower then Change into a cropped sweater and jean shorts
I was satisfied with my outfit then I went to my sisters room asking her to take me to star bucks then back to American idol headquarters thing where I'll be competing against my fellow singers, me and my sister have always been close she's 17 so we're close in age! "Spencer can we go now?" I ask "yeah let's go" she responds we get in the car and drive to Starbucks I lean over her and say "can I get two pinkity drinkities for a fellow shister?" I say laughing my sister looks at me then laughs, we get our drinks then head to the American idol building thing, I get out and she follows I'm nervous bc we have to be paired into groups then they pick who they want to stay or not, I got to the room and Spencer goes to the Audience. I see Daniel he waves me over he looks really cute today he's wearing a white collared shirt with a grey sweater over it with black jeans and black boots with a fedora, do I like him? Nahhhh! I walk over and hug him, "hi" he says cheerfully "heyy are you nervous" I say "yeah kinda but I have faith we will do great mads" he says I smile "I think we're in the same group" he says I simply nod then Simon calls us over, he then starts calling the groups "group 15 contains Madeline kemper Daniel Seavey mya pool Courtney pohler Andrew mouton" he says, we all get into our groups and we choose the song say you won't let go my personal favorite, me and Courtney would start the song and duet the whole song together in harmonies then Dani and I have a part together, we get called to the stage after an hour or two rehearsing "are y'all happy with the song choice" Demi says we all nod then the music starts "I met you in the dark you lit me up you made me feel as though I was enough" me and Courtney sang I was more powerful and I could tell she was nervous so I gave her a look of reassurance she smiled and kept singing, more people did their parts then dani and I sang"I'll wake you up with some breakfast in bed and I'll take the kids to school wave them goodbye and I'll thank my lucky stars for that night" me and Dani sang he winked to me at the end I smiled and blushed and we ended the song the judges told mya and Andrew to step forward I got really nervous and Dani could tell so he held my hand "the three in the back congratulations you've made it through" I was so happy I jumped into Daniels arms "we did it!" He laughed mad hugged me so tight then put me down and I hugged Courtney we were basically crying I knew we'd be best friends me and Dani intertwined our fingers and walked off stage I saw my sister and let go of Dani and ran to her "I did it Spencer i really did it" I said she tears up and hugs me my sister has always supported me in my singing career. I introduced her to Daniel, she looks at both of us and smirks, I playfully hit her and blush!
Daniels POV
We walk off stage and I feel a weight lifted off my shoulders me and Madeline had our hands intertwined and I couldn't help but blush at the sight, she then saw her sister and ran to her I followed, I really like this girl. They invite me to go get pizza And I can't pass that up so I ask my mom and she says it's okay and she'll pick me up when I'm ready, we hop into her sisters car and we jam to some Jon Bellion both our favorite Artists, we get there and me and Madeline sit together while her sister sits across from us, we order and wait, we try to get to know each other more and we have a lot in common we both love watermelon.
~Madeline's POV~
My sister groaned knowing there's two of me now bc me and Daniel are like the same person our pizza comes and we devoir it my sister pays and we bring Daniel home, I say goodnight and he kisses my cheek, I smile and blush so hard I get in the front and my sister smirks at me, "STOP AND DRIVE" i say Daniel must have heard me bc he looked back and laughed I was embarrassed, and we got home and I walked upstairs and took a shower and see my phone light up it was a goodnight text from Daniel" goodnight my music man" I text back and fall asleep
