Chapter 2

[Scott's POV]

I was at the house with Callum and Oli preparing for my twins birthday. "So when do you plan to propose to Lauren?" Oli asked. "W-What?" I asked. I admit, I was shocked by the sudden question, I mean, I had been planning to propose to Lauren for a few months, but never found courage to. "Uh..." I froze, it was a complete shock of a question that came out of nowhere. "Well? I'm curious too..." Callum said. "I uh, I've been planning to for a couple months but I-I guess I just haven't found the perfect moment..." I said. "Well we know you two weren't going to conventions this month, and we had planned a trip after we got these plane tickets to Paris and we have a hotel booked so would you two want to go?" Callum and Oli have been dating for a year and half now, so I wasn't surprised they wanted to go to Paris. "But what about Scarlet and Layton?" I asked him. "We already have that solved, Oli and I would take them to the cons with us while you two got to go on a trip to Paris." Callum said. "Really? Thank you so much Callum, just make sure they have cosplays." I said. "Why wouldn't we?" Oli asked. "Yeah that's silly, of course we'd make sure they had cosplays." Callum said.

We finished setting up the twins' birthday party and talked for a while before the other people arrived. A bunch of the twins' friends from their preschool came with their parents, then a few of our friends came. Yammy and Kyle also had brought Dante.

"Hey Yammy." I waved to her. "Hey Scott." She said. We hadn't seen our friends for a couple years besides when we were recording. "Alright everyone, as you know this is a surprise party so when I give the cue, Callum here will turn off the lights, and then when the twins walk in, we surprise them." I told them. I then called Lauren to tell her everything was set up. She was only a couple blocks away so she could just walk home. I then saw them down the street and gave Callum his cue. He turned off the lights I heard the steps coming up the stairs and the doorknob turned. It clicked open and I heard Scarlet "Mom, why're the lights off?" Callum then clicked them back on, "Surprise!" We all said. Layton looked around at everything. "What is this?" He asked. "Your birthday party Layton and Scarlet." Yammy said. "Yammy?" Lauren asked. "Yep?" She asked. "Can I talk to you for a minute..." She said. "Sure." She followed Lauren outside. I wonder what they were going to talk about, but I'd probably find out later. A couple minutes passed and I saw Jacea and Camila enter the house. "Hey glad you two could make it." I said to them. "I don't think there's a chance Camila would let me forget!" Jacea smiled.

A/N: I'm sorry I haven't updated this story in forever, to be honest it was always in the back of my mind, I just couldn't find the time to. But now here's the next chapter for you guys, again, I'm so sorry I haven't updated in a while. But it wasn't just that I forgot about it and couldn't find time, I'm working on a new project that should be coming later this month, so keep an eye out for that.
