Your POV
I coughed pulling the blankets closer to my body. I had a fever, a runny nose, A big migraine, my body was aching and my date with Ruby was not going to happen tonight. This whole week I've been feeling like complete shit. It started on Wednesday with a headache and then slowly developed to ache, couched and sore throat.
"Aye Mija.. I think I might have to take you to Urgent care," My mother said as she felt my forehead. She made me a Theraflu tea and brought me some soup.
"Ruby called he asked about you so I told him you weren't feeling well.. He sounded really sad.. So I suggest you text him," My mother said and I nodded as she walked out of my room. I looked over at my phone seeing my missed calls and text messages from Ruby. I smiled seeing how much he cared. I was going to text him but my eyes grew heavier and heavier, Soon I was out like a light.
"How is she?"
"Not so good this cold has really taken a toll on her."
"Can I?"
"Yes go right ahead,"
"Hey babygirl how are you feeling," Ruby whispered setting a bag on my night stand. He lifted my covers and got under them with me. I shook my head not wanting him to get sick because of me. He shushed me wrapping his arms around me and kissing my head.
"Here I brought you some soup," He said and I shook my head not trusting my voice.
"Come on Chiquita you need to eat something please for me," He said and I sat up the covers falling from my body. I shivered instantly feeling the cold air hit my skin. Ruby took of his hoodie putting it on me, I smiled inhaling his sent.
"Here and here are some tortillas," He said handed me the foil wrapped tortillas, I smiled eating the soup. He sat there watching me and I suddenly got embarrassed at how awful I must have looked. My hair was a rat's nest, puffy eyed, runny nose snot running everywhere. I finished the soup handing him the empty bowl and he smiled putting it back in the bag.
"Ruby you didn't have to come," I croaked and he furrowed his eyebrows looking at me.
"Yes I did because it's my job to make sure my girlfriend is safe and well and loved," He said leaning to kiss me but I shook my head pushing him back.
"Princessa," He whined
"I don't want to get you sick," I said tying my hair in a messy bun.
"I could care less now give Daddy as kiss," He smirked and I blushed kissing his plump soft lips. He laid back and I rested my head on his chest wrapping my arm around his chest. He undid my hair massaging his hands through it, I moaned snuggling closer into him. I heard him chuckle, His hand went under my hoodie tracing patterns on my back. His cold hand felt Amazon in my heating body.
"Get some rest babygirl I'll be here when you wake up," He said and I sighed letting myself fall into a deep sleep. That's how we spent the rest of the night, I tossed and turned at one point because I couldn't get back to sleep. Ruby took matters into his own hands massaging my back making sure I got to sleep comfortably.
I don't know what I'd do without him, He was such an amazing boyfriend. He always made sure that I was taken care of, Pampered and loved.
"I love you Ruby," I said and I felt him freeze, did I say it too early? Did I mess up? Oh God He wasn't ready?
"I love you to Princessa," He said kissing my head.
The next morning when I woke up I felt better than ever. My runny nose was gone and so was my fever. My throat felt much better and I was able to actually keep my food down. I turned over to Ruby kissing his lips, He Moaned kissing my lips sleepily.
"Good morning," I said
"Good Morning," He said his raspy voice sending shock waves through my body.
"What do you want to eat for breakfast?" I asked kissing his lips.
"Hmm I want pancake," He smirked and I peppered kisses on his lips, neck and collarbone.
"Pancakes coming right up," I said swinging my leg over him to get to the other side of my bed, He winced when I was straddling his waist.
"What?" I asked worried and I felt what he was wincing about.
"I'm sorry," I said seeing the bulge that had formed in his basketball shorts.
"Don't worry about it love.. I got this go start breakfast and I'll join you in a couple minutes," He said and I nodded kissing his lips heading to the kitchen to get started of breakfast.
