Guardian of the Hunt

Chapter 1

Percy's POV
We were tracking down the Manticore. He's at some high school. He captured my cousin Thalia Grace, Artemis' lieutenant. We're following him right now and he doesn't even know it. We followed him into his office. He walked into a secret room in his office, where he's holding Thalia. "So lieutenant, here's how this is gonna g-" He didn't get to finish because I plunged my sword through his head. "Bianca, Zoë, guard the door, while I untie Thalia." I said. "Percy?" Thalia said. "Hey Thals. Yeah, it's me." I confirmed. The second I untied her, Thalia blasted me with electricity. "WHERE THE HADES WERE YOU?!?! DO YOU KNOW HOW WORRIED THE HUNTERS AND I WERE?!?!" she screamed at me. "I'm sorry okay? I was betrayed by everyone at camp. I left because of how much it hurt me. My real dad, Chaos found me. I was training for a month. Bianca, Zoë, and I hunt monsters for the past three years." I explained. "How are Zoë and Bianca here?" Thalia asked. I told her how I brought them back. "Now we should get to Olympus. Let Lady Artemis know you're okay. Besides, I bet she'd love to know Zoë and Bianca are back." I said. I opened a portal to the Olympian throne room and gestured for Thalia to go through first. When we arrived in the throne room, all the Olympians were arguing. Even the seven were there. When they finally noticed us, they were shocked, to say the least. Finally, when they all got over their shock, they noticed Zoë, Bianca, and Thalia. Artemis was the first to speak up. "Zoë? You're alive? How?" "My girlfriend, Percy brought Bianca and I back." Zoë said. Then Hades spoke up. "How could Perseas have brought you back?" "Because Chaos is my father. That's how I brought them back." Nico ran to Bianca and tackled her in a hug. "I missed you big sister." he said. "I missed you too little brother." Bianca said while hugging Nico back. Artemis walked forward. "Perseas to thank you for bringing Zoë and Bianca back, I would like to make you guardian of the hunt." she offered. "I'll accept on one condition. I can still be with Zoë." I said. "You can." "Then I accept Lady Artemis." I said. Artemis nodded to Zeus. "Do you Perseas Jackson swear on the River Styx to protect Artemis and her hunters? To follow Artemis' every order without question?" Zeus asked me. "I swear it on the River Styx and my father Chaos' name, to protect Artemis and her hunters. To follow Artemis' every order without question. And should I break this vow, I will accept my fate." I swore. Immediately, my back erupted in immense pain. There was a loud ripping sound, then the pain stopped and I blacked out.
