I Can Tell that We are Gonna Be Friends

You and Jack have been best friends since you were little kids. But ever since he started a band he had started to not talk to you as much.
"Fall is here, hear the yell back to school ring the bell," you sing We are gonna be friends and playing on your guitar Jack gave you when you were about 13 and he was 15. "Brand new shoes, walking blues, climb the fence, books And pens." A familiar voice sings "I can tell that we are gonna be friends, I can tell that we are gonna be friends." You both sing, you turn around and see your best friend since childhood here in your apartment singing with you. With tears starting to form in your eyes you say "Jack, what are you doing here?" "I came here to say that I missed you and that I'm sorry for leaving you alone here." He says his face filled with sadness and regret. You stand up and walk to him and hug him, surprised at first, but he hugs you back. "Oh Jack, it's been so long since I last saw you." You said crying. "Did you want to continue with the song (Y/N)?" He asks. "Sure, why not." After that you guys went to a coffee shop later to catch up on stuff.
