A few miles away from the protestors, the boys found themselves sitting on a park bench. Slipping on the last of their slushes, they found themselves watching the swans in the lake. It was one of their reasons for the coming to the historical park. The second was for Barby's Slushy after all. Crushed ice in the heat was a great quench for the throat. As some of their beaks nozzling under the water, their conservation began amongst the mist of the lake."Thank you Can" said Gwendolyn. She hugged the startled Cameron. He felt the warmth of her cheek against the side of his face. It had a slight sticky "If it was not for your stunt last year so wouldn't be this brace enough to do this."
"You okay?" said Mac. "You went quiet back there."
"I hope you inspire people like me to change." The white megaphone clutched heavily and tightly. He watched as her hand rose slowly into the air.
"To stand up to the opressors of our society""Yeah!" The people behind her roared in delight as the pair stood in bewilderment.
"You okay?" said Mac. "You went quiet back there."
The words echoed again as Cameron seemedly became distant. An vivid image came to his mind.
"Come on Cameron" said a woman with a cotton blended navy blue blazer, light blue knee length, school shoes . She lowered her hand and handed him the megaphone which was in her right hand. Behind her was the chaotic mess which had ensued.
"Come and join the fun" said the female. He knew that smile in an instant as it looked it could reach from ear to ear. Her blue eyes now hysterically were laughing at him. Little bounces with them. Her whole demenor could give any person a chill down her spine. He imangined a fire roaring behind her as she outstretched her hand with megaphone. It was now rusty and stained with spots of red.
"Anyway I cannot believe that people would want to close Hyde Park" said Mac. The sound of the straw echoed in both ears as the sucking was heard as Cameron found his footing back into the conversation with Mac.
"And You" said Mac. He slureredYou are usually so happy. So emagtic" said Mac. "You wanted to start an greenery"
"You are always saying should I start with the...."
"It's enigmatic" sad Cameron. A solemn expression struck on his face as he rose to his feet. He continued his speech as he swung the heavy rollerblades onto his shoulders. "And the context you are using it is wrong"He started to walk. It was a few seconds when Mac stopped in front of him. The tense was brief but present as Cameron turned his head to the side
"Come on"
"It is has been..."
Pushing Mac out of the way, Cameron paced a little further on the concrete walkway. He stopped after he heard those words"Seriously though" said Mac. "You are a little more talkative than that"
"Especially when Gwen brought up the you know what""Did you see those eyes of hers" said Cameron. "How they leapt with glee"
"How would someone leapt with glee after....""Thank you Can" said Gwendolyn. She hugged the startled Cameron. He felt the warmth of her cheek against the "If it was not for your stunt last year so wouldn't be this brace enough to do this."
"It's not that" said Cameron lowly. Mac knew that he was lying."I really appreciate your help" said Cameron. "Plus you don't..."
"Stop" said Mac, cutting Cameron's sentence short. He placed his hand onto his shoulder. "I am your friend"
"But I agree" said Mac. Cameron looked towards his best friend of many years. Cameron's left eyebrow rose as he looked confused toward Mac.
"I agree wholeheartedly that you are paying for the next meal we are going to have at HomeBurger. Cameron groaned as Mac.
"Don't worry Cam" said Mac. "I pay you back"
"You always say that" said Cameron. All italics are the distant memories of the characters. And when all the words are in capital, the character is shouting.
