She stared at the beautiful painting before them, admiring it's beauty and story.
But all he did was admire her.
"So why here?" She asked as they sat on a bench, in front of a painting that she knew very well.
"A couple of days ago, I saw you reading an art book, thought you might be interested, plus its an amazing place and I know you'd appreciate it's beauty." He said and she nodded.
"So Jeon, tell me about yourself." She said as she crossed her legs.
"What is there to tell?"
"Come on, everyone has their stories. Their favorites. Their hobbies and how they got them." She said and he thought for a while.
"Okay. Favorite color? Red. Hobby? Dancing, I got there by needing a way to release stress without hurting myself or others and I have been using that for years now."
"Wow, interesting."
"What about you, Ms. anti-social?" He raised an eyebrow, grinning.
"Favorite color? White. Hobbies? I guess...cooking..oh and I play guitar!" She said happily.
"Really?" He said and she shrugged.
"Picked it up because of my mom, haven't stopped since." She said and he smiled.
"I saw her pictures in the living room, you have a frame dedicated to her." He said and she nodded.
"She's in Europe, getting treatments." She said and took a deep breath.
"Listen you don't have to if-"
"No, I do have to. I haven't been able to talk about it, not since it got worse and I need to." She interrupted him.
"Okay." He said and held her hand, giving a reassuring squeeze.
"She was diagnosed with cancer, a couple of years ago. And she's been fighting it. Keeping it at bay. She's trying to get cured, but she couldn't achieve that here. Her and my dad packed their things and said goodbye for two years." She sighed and held back the tears that were threatening to fall.
"Hey, its okay." He said and she nodded.
"They send us pictures of her and she's getting better, I just wish I were there to see it." She said and sniffled.
"I'm sure she misses you just as much.." he said and squeezed her hand again.
"Yeah." She said and stared back at the painting.
"Want to skip the naked painting and go to dinner?"
"Yes please." She laughed and he chuckled before walking out of the museum with her, hand in hand.

They stood on her doorstep and she smiled up at him. He couldn't stop staring at her eyes, and how they twinkled in the moonlight.
"Thank you, for tonight." She said and he smiled.
"It was nice, getting to talk to you like this." He said and watched their hands swing.
"Yeah, it was..different." She laughed, making him burst out too.
"It's getting late." He said and she nodded.
"I liked tonight, maybe you can take me out again sometime." She said and he chuckled.
"You know this was a date right?" He said and let go of her hand as she reached out for the doorknob.
"Kinda figured it out when you showed up in a tux." She chuckled and he shrugged.
"But it was worth it to have the prettiest girl on my arm tonight." He winked and she was glad it was dark out so he wouldn't see the change of color in her cheeks.
"Goodnight Jeon."
"Goodnight Gorgeous."
