I'd rather not know
I'd rather be dead...
To the truth
Because sometimes
It is better to be unknown to the world
It is better to prevent destruction of the soul
And it is always better to live without judgment as your shadow
You may laugh behind my back and dismiss it as disguised fear
You may throw rocks with your words without concentration
You may taint my reputation with a flick of a tongue
But you will never know of my knowledge of personality
You will never see the truth behind these pitiful eyes
Don't look away so easily, my friend
You fail to see what can save you from your downfall
From your lonely future of meaningless company
To be drowning in an evergoing sea, and begging for water
To have sunlight shining down upon the world, but traveling with a lamp
If there are terrible things lingering, I already sense to avoid it
Already wise in my many years, my youth has become a countless age
I understand
I know
I see
Now it's your turn
That is...
If you ever discover the ways of the world
Realize there is more to life than words
Experience a miraculous epiphany
Then you'll know where to find me
Just you and me, agaist the world
Just me and you, to know the truth
Just you and I, unblinded, pure and free
