Chapter 40
Marv's pov
Kevin put the ice on his ankle. I was getting concerned but I didn't say anything. He kept it there a little then he took it off. His ankle looked a lot better then it did earlier. The bruise was gone.
"How's your ankle?" I asked
"Better thanks for the ice" he said
"Your welcome" I replied
Kevin's ankle did look a little better. Kevin started to cough.
"Are you ok?" I asked
"Yeah I think I still have that cough" he said
"Would you like more medicine?" I asked
"Yes please" he said
I went to the kichen and got more for him. Then I brought more out to the living room and handed it to him.
"Thanks" he said
"Your welcome" I said
He finished the medicine and I put the cap back on.
"Can I have some toast?" Kevin asked
I looked at my watch it was eight thirty.
"Sure" I said
We went in the kitchen and got the bread for him and left it on the table I almost forgot that this wasn't me or Harry's place. Kevin took out the bread and put it in the toaster.
