After a long day at work I walk into the room and take off my shoes. She stood there gazing at me with a small smile plastered onto her face. She was expecting something and I knew why she was.
"What do you want?" I hissed. Okay that sounded a lot meaner than I wanted it to.
But I have a reason alright. I love her with all my heart, the ring on her finger proves it. I didn't choose her to be my wife just because she was gorgeous okay? She is gorgeous that is one thing and-
Tears dripped down her beautiful face.
I stood, unable to move. This was the reason why. I got to see her tears after a long time. It was a painful sight yet beautiful in its own way.
Once she married me, she hid her ability to express feelings because she thought she was worrying me. She never once complained, never cried, I stood her up on our second anniversary for a meeting and she still remained quite.
I couldn't take it anymore and I chose this day to get something out of her. But now I can't watch her cry and tremble. I'm a terrible human am I not?
She clenches her dress, gripping it on her side and turns around to walk into our bedroom.
My legs suddenly come to life.
