"Girls we're going to be late, one of you should go grab snacks and meet the rest at the seats" my best friend says to our little group.

"Why does one of us have to do it?" my other friend retorts back.

"Because I did it last time and missed the first five minutes! One of your turns now" she smiles innocently.

"Y/n you do it" my friend speaks up.

"Wow thanks love you too, hurry up and go grab the seats before I change my mind" I roll my eyes as I walk up to the growing queue of people to get the food. My friends dash ahead into the theatre, eager to get their seats.

They all thought it would be a great idea to come out to watch something together because we 'don't see each other that often'. I'd rather be at home with netflix, my food and the comfort of my own couch but if it makes them happy so be it.

"Fuck sake" the boy in front of me curses under his breath, almost too quiet to hear.

"Are you okay?" I tap him on the shoulder, instantly regretting my actions to a stranger as his eyes lock with mine, a smile appearing on his face. He's beautiful.

"Yeah, my movies starting and my friends made me get the food but this line is too long" he says, annoyance clearly in his voice, "and they took my ticket in with them so I can't even get in"

"Exactly what my friends have done" I laugh at the irony, scanning his face as I giggle.

"I'm Zion" he introduces himself.

"Y/n" I nod back at him.

"What do you say we both get out of here, ditch their asses and go grab food somewhere else" he grins, looking back at the huge line in front.

"I say that's a perfect idea"

Zion grabs my hand and leads me far away from the movie theatre, laughing as both of our phones start exploding with messages from our friends about the food that never arrived.
