PLEASE READ!
I know this is totally off topic from the book, but I need to rant.
I have a 'friend' who refuses to come to my house now because I have a pet rat. If you follow me on Studio @geek_chic613, you can see pics of her.
Domesticated Rats are, despite popular beliefs, AMAZING pets!
1. They are cleaner and carry less diseases than domesticated dogs.
2. They are easy to maintain; all they need is love and a place to sleep.
3. Harper, my rat, has NEVER bitten me. Even when I give her baths once a week. XD
4. Rats are like small dogs in many aspects. They are loyal: Harper loves to sit on my shoulder and hide in my hair, but when she thinks I'm in danger she pokes her head out and squeaks. They are cuddlable: Harper loves to watch movies with me and snuggle.
I hope this changes someone's perspective. And btw, I'm not dissing my friend. I understand that said 'friend' doesn't like rats and may have reasons...but it kinda hurts my feelings.
What do you think I should do?
