Kevins POV
I felt really bad about what happened with Evan..but it was still no reason to come that close to missing a show, but I thought I'd apologize anyways.
We aren't playing a set today so we all were either in the bus, walking around, or at our merch tent.
Since Evan wasn't at the tent, and he probably wasn't wondering around I headed over to our bus to see if he was there.
And unfortunately he wasn't. "Hey wheres Evan?" I asked our TM who was trying to cool himself off.
"I don't exactly know, he just said he was going out to get us some lunch and he'd be right back, why?"
"I just want to talk to him about yesterday, thats all." I explained while peering my head into the bunks to see if he was hiding in them.
"I don't know if thats the best thing..he literally just stopped moaning and groaning about it."
"Yeah..but I feel sorta bad about how we were all yelling at him when he had just found out about her well, ya know.."
"Well yeah but you guys didn't know, its not your fault, hes a grown man Im sure he understands that."
"I don't know, Im still going to talk to him about it, I mean its just so sad. He meets this girl and all of a sudden shes got a terminal illness..I just wonder why it never came up before."
"Point taken, but she seems like a really nice girl, Im sure she had reasonable explanation as to why she wouldn't tell him."
"I hope so, because if she doest then shes just cruel." I pointed out while going to sit in the small tour bus lounge.
We waited about 20 minutes before Evan finally came through the door.
He didn't say anything, he just handed our TM his lunch and sat across from me pulling out our portable mini tables.
I waited awkwardly before finally saying something. "Im not sure if this is a good time but.." I looked over at our TM as to say 'could-you-give-us-some-time-alone?'.
He understood, and nodded before getting up and leaving the bus.
"Im really sorry about yesterday, I feel really ba-"
"Stop." he cut me off. "Im fine, It was my fault I shouldn't have made a big deal about it."
"What are you talking about?! You have every right to make a big deal about this!" I said shocked, it was normal for him to react that way, wasn't it?
"Well yeah, but I should have pulled myself together for the show, It was mean of me to let you guys worry like that, Shes strong, Im almost positive she'll make it through this."
"So..have you talked to her about it then?" I asked immediately regretting what I just asked, of course he has.
Evans POV
"Yeah, of course, she gave her friend my phone number so she can keep me up to date with how shes doing. Her friend, Kara, is also going to come and see me at the Kentucky show tomorrow. Which reminds if anything were to happen to Hannah-" I choked on the thought of anything happening to her, I don't think I would be able to take it.. "If anything were to happen, if Kara could join us on tour and, help?"
"Of course!! But lets not talk like that, like you said shes strong, she'll pull through it." I smiled and gave him a pat on the back.

Today was the day, were in Kentucky now and its so weird to think Hannah is only a few hundred miles away and that Kara could be only half a mile away. I really hope she has some good news in store for me. I don't think I can take anymore bad news.
"Rise and shine!!" Alix shouted, flinging each bunk curtain open as he passed.
"Were up! Were up! Calm down! Aren't you still tierd??" Manny asked slowly getting out of his bunk.
"Not at all!!" He said happily,.
Once we were all ready and awake we ate
some quick breakfast and made our way to the Monster Energy stage.
About halfway there I got a text from Kara.

Hey, Im in the crowed at the Monster Energy stage, If you want to find me Ive got long black hair, Im wearing a white tank top and black skinny jeans that are ripped at the knee. If it helps when you look at me ill stick out my tongue.
Okay, i think that might help since almost everyone in that crowd has long black hair haha.

I quickly ran to the stage, and apologized for being a tiny bit late.
We played just a few songs since our set list was cut short for some reason.
We played:
Monster
Trick or Treat
Acid
Then W.F.F
After the show Kevin insisted he would gather my equipment for me so I could go find Kara. I gladly thanked him and looked for her. I couldn't find her in the crowd, so I assumed she was either short, or was all the way in the back.
But soon enough I heard someone call my name, It could have been anyone but they didn't sound like a fan, she didn't sound excited just curious.
So I followed the voice and I saw what I believed to be Kara. She ran up to me and I was right, she was very short probably at least 4'9 or 4'8.
She was out of breath when she finally reached me but she managed to croak out a greeting. "Hey! Im Hannahs friend, Kara, you're Evan right?"
"Thats me, you okay? Do you need water or.."
"No, its alright, Im fine just really out of shape." she laughed slowly catching her breath.
But I felt my heart sink as her smile quickly faded and soon I felt my fade too.
"Evan I know you've been through a lot in the last like 20 hours but unfortunately, I have some bad news."
