A young girl laughed as she ran through a field of sakura trees. A young boy showered her with pink sakura petals. The petals landed on her black hair and on her pink kimono. She laughed and danced as the pink petals fluttered around her. A beautiful women wearing a yellow kimono smiled as she watched over her daughter and son play, her husband stood next to her with the same expression.

"Onii-sama look at the petals." The little girl said with bright eyes.

"I see it, Mirai-chan." Her brother said as he stuck a pink pendant in her hair.

"Arigato Onii sama." Mirai responded as she laughed.

This was one of the last happy memories Mirai had before her brother left.

"Onii-samaa! Don't leave me." Mirai cried as she ran after him in the rain. This is another scene showing the moment her brother leaves the house.

"Don't come near me Mirai." His voice was shaking as he said this and continued walking, his hair and clothes soaked by the rain.

"Noo!" She cried as she continued to run after him but kimonos are not fit for running so she fell onto the wet floor. Tears streamed down her eyes as she tried to stand up. Her brother turned around and wanted to help her but he bit his lips and ran away. He didn't know if it was the rain or the hot tears that soaked his face. Mirai cried as servants pulled her back in but she resisted and wanted to run after her brother but she tripped again.

'Why? Onii-sama why did you leave me? Did Mirai do something to upset you, if I did then I will make sure never to do it again just come back.' Mirai begged in her mind as she is sent back into the palace unconscious.

This memory ends here. After this incident Mirai was treated and taught to be a boy since her parents only gave birth to her brother and her, she needs to be the male figure to inherit the throne.

Fragments of memories followed where she would taught how to read and write, how to wield a sword and throw kunais and such. However she is still a growing women and so alongside her male trainings she is also taught feminine classes, tea ceremony, maiko dancing, Guching the list goes on, limitless. But it is also because of these classes that her schedule is packed day and night and she can not interact with other kids her age. Her childhood are filled with loneliness and sadness. Then another tragic memory surfaced, an event that changed her life forever.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Father! Mother!" A thirteen year old Mirai screamed in a sea of orange and red flame.
Fire and a lot of them is what she remembers. She remembers being surrounded by fire as she searched for her parents. She has just came back from an expedition to check their east border when her family and the palace was attacked. When she reached there it was too late, both her parents had their throats slit and a fire was set on the palace. As a fourteen year old having lost both her family, home and everything she knew scars her life forever. With only her maid, best friend, to comfort her she vows to seek revenge against the ones who killed her family.
This memory ends here and a sixteen year old Mirai wakes up with tears as she remembers this, for two years these memories have haunted her everyday at night. Causing her to wake up in the middle of the night crying, today was the same. Careful not to wake Suki, her maid/friend, she walked out of the house with her sword and practiced until dawn. As the sun slowly crept up Mirai let out her horse and jumped on. Just like every other morning she galloped towards the ruins of a burnt down castle. There she would visit her parents graves with a heavy heart. After laying her mother's favorite flowers on her grave Mirai made the long way up the fortress and stood on the ashened ground where her home once stood. She touched the burnt wood that was still standing and touched the burnt parts. When she lifted her fingers, her finger is covered with the black ash. She gave a sad smile as she walked around and reminisced what used to be here.
Suki walked up the slope to the palace and with a sad smile she walked up behind Mirai.
"Morning Suki." Mirai greeted.
"Morning? More like afternoon, girl did you know how worried I was when you didn't come back for breakfast?" Suki scolded.
Mirai smiled as the two of them got on their horses and rode back to a house that is built into the side of a mountain. This used to be Suki's family house but after they were killed only Suki uses it. They are only living here temporarily since although Mirai does want to take revenge she is not strong enough and ready yet. Until that time comes Suki trains Mirai daily to improve her stamina, skills and such. Suki is two years older than her and comes from a long line of ninjas. She started to serve Mirai when Mirai was only three, as her bodyguard and maid. Now she is not only her teacher but best friend as well.
After the two ate lunch they traveled into the mountain where Mirai began her training. Under Suki's teachings Mirai learned various sword skills, martial moves and some acupuncture. Suki can be called excellent in almost everything. She knows the healing arts, ninja arts, acupuncture karate, although she does not know much about sword art she has the resources and the books to teach Mirai.
Suki taught Mirai everything she can that can be useful for her revenge, although the clue they had was very limited. One clue was a scrap of paper that is covered with black ink, her parents were clutching this paper tightly at their last moment with a shocked face. Their shocked faces are another clue there are cases where when a person is killed they will looked shocked but her parents' expressions were more than shock, their eyes showed fear and anxiety like they saw something they saw something unreal. The mixture of shock, fear and anxiety results in an indescribable face. Mirai has vowed to personally revenge on the person that made her parents reveal such faces.
