Ugh!..... Waking up to the sound of that irritating alarm. I looked at the time and saw that I was late, I quickly hopped into the shower and brushed my teeth, then combed my brown wavy hair and applied light makeup. I picked up my black skinny jeans and purple chiffon top with my black boyfriend jacket and black converse. I quickly came down to the counter, poured out cereal into a bowl, poured milk as I quickly ate and picked up my bag and went over to my mum. Have a great day mum, love you. Love you too sweetie, she answered. As I came out I saw Evan waiting. Wow you are so prompt he said in sarcasm. Yeah! i answered back flat. We got into the car and he asked for the subjects i offered and fortunately they were the same as his. "We have no cause to look for each other " he said letting out a smile. He then told me that he was going to be a brother to me and he assured me that he got my back. As we got to school, the receptionist miss Penelope gave Evan his locker combination which was exactly beside mine.

We quickly hurried inside chemistry class, as we entered before the class started all eyes were on I and Evan. I wanted wanted to run out but Evan held me closer and we took our seat. As Chris and Amy entered I called them over and did the introduction. Amy with her cute face gave out a smile and shook him. I knew Chris thought he had a big competition from the look on his face, he greeted Evan and excused himself. As Mrs Kelly entered the class, we all took our seats, she put on her glasses which made her oval shape of head come out well, she was pretty and easy going. I really loved her classes. After the first three classes, we had lunch. Only Amy,Evan and I were eating our lunch and talking to each other. Amy really questioned Evan and i was thinking of where Chris could be. So I left without being noticed , I saw him walk to the clinic. I was really looked puzzled but i followed him in order not to lose him, and i really needed to talk to him.
As I entered that drug smelling place i saw the nurse, miss Alexey as written on her uniform. I layed low so that Chris won't notice me as he was taken to a ward in the clinic. I overheard the conversation with the nurse and Chris and I found out that he was down with a fever for the week, that means he was going to miss the dance tomorrow. I was sad and I quickly texted Logan and told him I couldn't go with because i had some issues at home,Logan was really nice, sweet and understanding so he didn't get angry or ask unnecessary questions as he replied.
As the nurse came out I asked if i could see him and she said i could. I quickly dashed in and Chris was shocked, we both gazed into each others eyes then i touched his body to check-out his temperature, he was so hot and i knew i couldn't leave him like that. He asked what i was doing there, taking care of you, I answered. "Why do you care?" he said furiously, because you are my friend, Christopher and i can't leave you in this state. I collected his cellphone and checked for his mum's number but it was switched off. He said he was left alone at home because they travelled for the weekend. I told him he could stay with me till they get back. As i turned back to get prepared for my remaining classes for the day, "Thanks", he said. I returned back to class and told Amy and Evan about Chris coming over to my house.
