King Malcom did not know how to speak of this topic with his daughter. He is aware of her knowledge of Gabriella's identity, but does not want to tell Elizabeth that he is the reason for the small tanned woman's problems.
"My dear Lizzy how well do you know Miss. Gabriella?" he inquires.
"Not that well, I only know who she is from my personal servant Sharmillah but that is about it father. Why do you ask?" the curly hair woman says.
"I just want to know if you think she is a good person is all," King Malcom responds, re-thinking his meddling in his eldest son's love life.
"Well from what I have heard and all the times I have spoken with her she seems like a genuinely good person. Why father do you think she would make a good future Queen or something?"
King Malcom looks over at his daughter with a frown on his face.
"She is not of royal blood though, how would she make a good ruler. I bet she does not even know how to speak to other nobles properly." he scoffs in response.
Elizabeth frowns at his response. She knew her father's response would be negative but she just thought that she could change his mind even if it is only a little bit. Both her parents have never been to open about commoners, especially servants, having relationships with anyone of nobility.
"You know father things can always be learned. . ." she trails off not trying to anger her father.
"Yes I know that my dear but not for servants. Although Miss. Gabriella my have the beauty and the kindness of a leader, does she have the intelligence? I do not think her knowledge on anything can be taught. Things like this must be taught from birth and there can be no other way. I do not understand why you press this issue dear, even making this ridiculous bet with your brother that you know he will lose!" the king exclaims only stopping himself when he realizes what he has said.
Elizabeth's eyes widen at her father's response.
"Wait how do you know for sure that Gabriella is the woman. I simply thought you took my side because you also thought the same but then again that would be odd for your. . ." the princess mumbles to herself, " that means that you one hundred percent know that Gabriella is the mystery woman. How come you have not told anyone about this father? Why keep it from all of us especially Xavier?"
King Malcom sighs knowing that he must reveal the truth to his daughter.
"It is because I want Xavier to marry a noble. I just need to pick the right woman for the job." the blue eyed king says.
"Father how can you do that to Xavier. What if he finds out or what if Gabriella tells him that she is the mystery woman!" Elizabeth protests after hearing her father's revelation.
"You see my dear this is where I need you to keep this secret for me. I am embarrassed to say this but I am the one who has dealt with Miss.Gabriella." the king murmurs to his daughter, loud enough so that she is the only one that could hear it.
The hazel eyed princess gasps at her father.
"What do you mean dealt with! Like you know. . ." Elizabeth response while making a slicing gesture along her neck.
"Oh my goodness no, no, never, I simply just told Miss.Gabriella to keep quiet and never come close to Xavier unless necessary." the king says relieving his daughter from any wild ideas she has created.
"Oh thank goodness! You gave me quiet the scare father!"
"I apologize my dear but you really must keep this secret, for the sake of the Xavier and the kingdom. You know the expectations of a royal dear. We do not want any other rulers to try and take advantage of this. So please promise me this." King Malcom presses, hoping his daughter complies.
