Humans can lick too

Most of you have probably heard this story. I have heard many versions of this, but this is the most frequent one I have heard.

My mum and dad finally bought me a dog. Hallelujah

Every night after a tough day it would lay under my duvet and sleep there. To check if he was there I would stick my hand under there and it would lick my hand.

One night after the worse day ever I stuck my hand under the duvet and it licked my hand. He's there. I turned my lamp off and went to bed. The dog wriggled around a bit so to comfort it I put my hand under the duvet. He licked it gently. Something felt different like he was happy but something wasn't right.

'Drip.....Drip......Dripppp' shit I must have left the tap on AGAIN.

I hope out of bed and walk to the bathroom.

It's not dropped but just in case I screw the tap tight enough nothing can escape that.

I hop back into bed into the warmth and comfort of my dog. He seems fatter. I put my hand there and he licks it. My eyes shut tightly.

'Drip Drop drip drop drip droppppp' Fuck sake.

My weak mum must have left the downstairs tap on after she got her usual glass of water.

I lazily got out of bed and looked at the time

'2:50 AM' read my alarm clock. School night aswell.

I walk down the creaky stairs and strut into the kitchen. Flick the lights on and walk over to the tap.

It's off but looks dodgy so I spin it close tightly.

I turn the lights off and quietly run upstairs afraid something will chase me up. I'm so childish I'm still afraid of the dark.

'2:53 AM' I jump back into bed and let the dog lick my hand.

'DROP...' that single drop makes me shudder...

It's coming from my wardrobe.....

Maybe a leak??

I turn the light on and walk over to my wardrobe sweating buckets.

I open the doors and see my dog hanging by its neck the blood dripping out the wardrobe and covering my feet.

The dog was in my bed though....
