*approaching Carl
"Hi" you said to Carl who hasn't said one word since a couple days ago. His eyes never left his hands. "Carl I'm sorry" you said, now sliding down to sit next him. You heard his breathing grow heavier,unsteady.

"Y/n do you think I had a choice"his voice shaking,vulnerable. You let your hand rest on his shoulder in attempt to comfort him. It was as if he didn't realize your presence. "All I know is to kill, that's all I know,that's all I get to know"his voice shook even more and spoke intensely as if they were the last words that would ever come out of his mouth.

"Carl what I said. I didn't mean it. And you were right. I'm sorry." You whispered into his ear, your face turned so he wouldn't see the tears build up in your eyes.
