"Class, please open up your textbooks to page 17," Mr.Madison said as he collected the previous assignments we passed to the front of the class. He was interrupted by the classroom door, which was slapped, that shook the classroom and everyone in it. His name is "Scus", short for Damascus. Everyone knew him as the kid who got suspended on the first day of school...senior at my high school. We were only in the same classroom because I was a junior looking for a more advanced science class.

I raised my hand seconds before Mr. Madison recognized him, but he didn't notice. He firmly shook Scus's hand, and walked toward me smiling. But all I saw were Scus's piercing eyes that I could see even from the back of the classroom. Mr.Madison reached for my shoulder and I flinched. He asked, "You okay, Emry?"

"What? Yeah, I'm fine." I tried to glance at him but he wasn't  there anymore. Oh, god he's gone, I thought, and I felt a breeze behind me.

"You had a question," he said, more concerned this time.

"Um...can I use the restroom?" I asked. He nodded his head with the concerned look still on his face. I quietly stood up and headed for the classroom door. Closed it on the way out. Ran to the restroom. Closed the bathroom stall.

No matter which class I went to, his eyes were in my head...damaging it little by little. Even in the hallways, I saw him, and felt a sharp pain all over. He never left me alone, even though we never spoken to each other. In my brain, i see his face mouthing 'you're next' over and over again. I was pretty sure the school was just giving me weird vibes. I decided to just walk home.

After I walked home, I saw the moving truck parked at our new neighbor's house and it was already empty, with empty boxes piled next to it. At first I thought it made sense, since they could've unpacked while I was at school, but those boxes were there in the morning. I decided to go upstairs to do my homework instead of welcome our new neighbors.
