A sweet, subtle, although slow, yet heart warming story of five childhood friends- and their families- living in the same neighborhood.
The story takes us around their high school, and simple neighborhood families are during exams. It begins with a narration of one of the five friends and she is speaking to someone over the phone. So, throughout the whole drama, there are tidbits of this, and *spoiler alert* two people of the gang end up together. This remains a mystery all the while, only being revealed at the almost end. One the six friends is a chess grandmaster, so it does show us how, although with all the fame, he comes back to his childhood friends.
It's a sweet story about high school crushes, crushes on a friend's sister, financial problems, how a friend in need is a friend indeed, the ajhummas gathering at one place in the alley when the kids are gone. To say it a peaceful story, would kind of be an understatement.
All I want to say about this drama is, there is almost zero drama in here. It's entertaining, and if you're someone like me who, for no particular reason, finds something to learn from everything, you will definitely learn a lesson or two about life.
Halfway through the number of episodes, the drama takes a leap and you finally find out what each of the six friends end up being.
If you're looking for something light hearted, this one is perfect!
