Piper Maritynn is the biggest socialite at West Poynter High School. From nerds to jocks, from band geeks to goths, Piper befriended them all. Differentiating herself from the other petty, girly popular kids, she made sure everyone felt loved. That's what made her special.

Her silky ash blonde hair hung in perfect loose waves down her back. Her long, black eyelashes batted over her bright, emerald green eyes as she scanned over the venue for the evening.

Piper's family was very wealthy. So wealthy that they could afford to supply her with her own storey to their already humungous house. The massive lounge room hosted 5 large, black leather lounges and one amazing, 72in. T.V. The coffee table was  crowded with sugary sweets and fizzy drinks, all sure to keep them active for the best of the night.

With everything in place, she sauntered into the enormous bedroom that led into the lounge room. The flopped down onto one of six king-sized beds- their purpose being entirely for large amounts of guests. She was definitely spoilt.

Piper was everything to everyone- sweet, funny, kind, smart-just perfect. She had friends surrounding her 24/7. But it wasn't always this way.

~4 years earlier~

It was the start of year seven for Piper and she was long awaiting the day. She combed her greasy, mousse-coloured hair back into two tight pigtails high up on the top of her head, tied securely with bright pink, sparkly scrunchies. She slipped into her school skirt, allowing it to billow way past her knees and fastened the school blouse around her, tucking it into her skirt. Piper smiled widely, flashing off her chunky braces as she pulled her huge bag over her shoulders and bounded down the stairs in her black tie-up boots. She was a nerd.

Piper walked boldly into the school, clutching her books tightly to her chest. Her bravery stopped there. As she walked down the hallways, she was bomb-barded with dirty looks and bitter comments. This went on for years, the bullying escalating into so much more. She began to resent herself and asked her parents for a make over and to transfer out of the school. They agreed without a moments hesitation.

The next year, Piper Maritynn was a whole new person. Beautiful blonde waves replaced her greasy brown pigtails and ugly granny clothing for attractive, new clothes. Her teeth glinted pearl white, rid of the metalic braces, and her feet occupied black ballet flats. All this made her look fantastic but what really made her look completely different was that she shed her puppy fat and no longer had a pudgy, pig's nose.

The first day of year eleven was nothing like the year before. Being the new kid, you'd suspect she'd be shy and elusive, but she was the complete opposite. Piper walked in, head held high, her hair swooshing behind her. Though she was immediately accepted into the 'popular society', Piper vowed she would include everyone, after what she endured being on the edge. She would be the revolutionised popular girl.

And it worked. But no-one at her current school knows of her past.

Suddenly the sweet tune of the door bell sounded and Piper jumped up and raced down stairs to greet the guest. When she opened the door, it revealed Aslynn Daugherty, smiling back at her.
