There Chasing Me

Running and more Running

Katherine's POV

I slid against a tree tired and hungry. I sniff the air for any animals. I smiled as I smelled the fear of a deer.

I bolted towards the lonely deer and began to drink it's tasty blood. I moaned at the goodness. I heard twigs snapped! I jumped up and ran off.

~2 hours of running~

I came to an abandon house and walked to the door. I closed my eyes and opened them to see if anyone was inside. I closed my eyes and stepped inside.

Nobody was here! I surrounded the house with an invisible shield an covered my sent so they can't track me down.

I looked around the house and was satisfied. I went into the kitchen and ran my hand on the cool marble counter.

I went into the living room and the couches were all dusty. I shrugged and headed upstairs.

I saw 3 doors and 1 door I assumed was the attic. I will go up there later, I thought to myself. I went in the first door and was shocked!

The bedroom was amazing! I stepped inside to see the room better.

I stood in the middle in the room for about 3 minutes until I heard a door open. I got scared for a second and I quietly stepped out into the hallway.

Nobody was there. Did they find me I thought?! I then saw the attic door open.

I walked up to it and closed it tightly. I let out a breathe I been holding. I turned around and started to walk away.

I heard a click and a squeak. I turned around slowly and there it was, the attic door open. My fear started to show.

I walked slowly to it. I hesitantly put my hand on the door and twist the knob. I yanked the door open and stared at what was before me.

I walked up the stairs no matter how nervous or scared I was. I reached the top and stared at all of the boxes that seemed to haven't been open in a few years.

I heard whispers saying "Help me! Runaway hurry!" I closed my eyes and took deep breathes and ignored it.

Only I didn't know I would regret it.....
