"You are seeing this LIVE, folks! Caitlynn Thomas did her dishes for the first time in our new apartment! This is her first time doing dishes in her entire life!" Sadie belted through the small two-bedroom apartment. Caitlynn rolled her eyes, no this was not her first time doing dishes, yes Sadie was a nerd and she hated her every minute she pretended to be a famous reporter for FOX4 News.

"Sadie, if you would please stop pretending to be reporting for a news channel now, that would be excellent," Caitlynn groaned. Sadie gave her the pouty face and proceeded to turn off her camera she donated her gall-bladder for.

"What's the point of having an expensive video camera if you never want to be the star of my news reports?"

Caitlynn was finishing up hanging a tapestry on the wall when Sadie asked. They would start school again in just two days and after living in the dorms for what felt like ten years, they finally convinced their parents that they were responsible enough to live on their own.

"Umm.. maybe because I've had enough camera's in my personal space since I was like 4," she jeered, "And besides, I told you not to get the most expensive one anyway until Miranda Kenner graduated and people would actually start watching your little story blogs."

Sadie sighed in agreement. Kenner had been the reporter for the college news channel "St. Arthur College News Now" since her freshman year. Sadie had been her personal assistant on Tuesday and Thursdays since she started taking the elective. This was Kenners' last year anyway, all Sadie needed to do was get the top reporting/anchor position and land a huge story and her success story would write itself! Yet she still sulked about, knowing that another year would go by and that she wouldn't get to share her stories with the rest of the school.

"What does Miranda Kenner have that I don't?" She asked Caitlynn who was starting to nestle on the couch with a blanket and her laptop, ready to finish writing her novel that only Sadie and her writing professor, Mrs. Needles, knew about. Caitlynn scoffed,

"You know I love you but your head resembles a grapefruit. That implies that you're not a popular skank." She began typing on her laptop, unfolding the twists and turns of her story.

"Well if I'm a grapefruit, you're a freaking Lemon because you're always so sour!" Sadie insisted, rambunctiously slapping her hands down on Caitlynns' keyboard and laughing as she strode away.

"Aww, Sadie you just typed y like 40 times and totally messed up my vibe! The guy was about to get the girl!" Sadie poked her head out of her doorway,

"Really?" She beamed, Caitlynn never wrote any story with a remotely happy ending.

"No, actually the guy was just beheaded for believing in witchcraft and the children slaughtered. You're welcome!" Caitlynn laughed as Sadie groaned about her gory, unromantic snip and shut the door on any more details of her messed up mind. "Ah silence, just the way I like it," she began typing again.

-2 days later-

The Mario Brothers theme song blasted through Caitlynns room around 8 a.m. she grumbled and rolled over, hoping the blaring sound would eventually go away... and it did for about 15 seconds before it started again. Her phone wouldn't stop ringing and she'd have half the nerve to throw it across the room, but she groggily answered.

"Who is this and why are you calling before my first class?"

"Oh dear, you sound tired, did I wake you?" A polite lady asked, "Oh wait, you're my daughter, I don't really care." Caitlynn groaned and launched herself back into her messy covers and distorted pillows.
