When they got inside the hospital, they quickly started to cut his clothes off, but when they saw the damage of his ribs, a concerned look on their face appeared. "What, what's wrong" "get him to x-rays now" "yes ma'am" They wheeled him to the cat scan room and started to do the x-rays. "Sir, I need you to close your eyes and breath. Ok" he nodded. Then he closed his eyes and breathed. "This is going to take a few minutes, we need you to stay perfectly still" "ok" he felt like panicking. But he kept his eyes close and breathed a steady beat. "Alright, a few more minutes and we'll be done" "ok" then after like 10 minutes they stopped the machine and got him out of the machine and onto the stretcher. "You did great. I did see you panic, but how did you maintain a steady beat with your breathing" "i learned" "from who" "my brother, he has them and most times when he's in bed, his breath is a steady beat to calm him down" "that's good" they got him back to the room and hooked up to the monter, I.V lines and oxygen. When the doctor came in, she set up a tray and then put the crackers and the water onto the tray. "There you go. "Do you need anything before I go" "where" "i have to go somewhere and pick something up" "I'm good. I have mom" "ok" then they hugged and then he left. "Mom" "huh" "when will I be released" "we don't know. You are running a low fever and we have to wait to see if the x-rays are good. You got most of the beating, so you will be here for a while" "does Emily know" "no" "can I give her a call" "after your done eating, ok" "ok" as he ate, he got a call but it hung up. Weird. "Mom" "what is it baby" "my head hurts" "I know. Go to sleep, you need some rest" "I'm not tired though" "I'm know. But you went 2 days without any sleep. You do need to sleep" "ok" she moved the tray and got into the bed and he moved his head and put it on his mom's shoulder. He went to sleep and his mom held his hand and pulled the blanket up for he could stay warm.
