The Mystery of Love

Chapter 2

Hello my lovely readers, how are you liking my story so far? I've realized there seems to be not very many people who read Skipbeat Fanfics anymore but I still have high hopes for this story!

"Thank you Ren! Bye to both of you!" He chirped before ending the call.

"Ren! You don't have to do this! Please don't feel obliged to!" I told him quickly, not noticing me calling him ren, as he parked the car before turning towards me. His face had a frown on it and his eyes were those awful puppy dog eyes.

"What Mogami-San? Do you not think you could stand me for the night? I understand I guess, it makes sense that you wou-"

"No Tsuruga-San! I really enjoy your company it's just I don't want you to think you have to do this if you don't want to." I interrupted him in a rush, I didn't want him to think i hated him or didn't enjoy his company.

"Good then there shouldn't be a problem. This is my choice Kyoko... is it alright if I call you that?" He asked and I froze.

"No! Don't you dare let his light in Kyoko come let's get you back into the darkness." Boss yelled in her head as if she could here him. However she could feel the spirits hold on her body and preventing her from speaking.

"Let her Go Boss! Love is a beautiful thing and so is the light!" A previously demon spirit who died in the last chapter, Lolit, yelled to her old boss. She had gone to the light side after dying and now supports love.

"Only if I may call you Ren." I responded and he smiled brightly.

-"NOOOOOO!!!" Boss yelled certainly not pleased with this new occurrence and how she was beginning to get closer to a man.-

"I would like that Kyoko." The way he said my name, with such tenderness. Why did he do that? Why does my heart pound so frantically? I gave him a small smile.

I looked around to see us in the parking garage under Ren's building, we quickly got out and made our way up to his apartment. When I realized something,

"Ren you don't think that darumya *idk if correct spelling* will be targeted do you?" I looked towards he and he smiled at me softly.

"I doubt that anyone knows you live there but I can call Lory and have them protected if it will make you feel better?" He responded and I nodded.

"Thank you tsu- I mean Thank you... Ren." He smiled yet again brightly causing all the spirits to go into yet another panic mode.

- "Boss I don't know if I can stay awake, there's a light calling me." Taru began to wiggle and wobble slowly sinking down about to die.-

-"Yes Taru come with me I will show you there's nothing to fear of this love me side, oh Dad was telling Kyo the truth!" Lolit was slowly coaxing Taru into the light his sworn enemy.

-A blast of darkness shoot towards Lolit hitting her in her center, her hold breaking on Taru who was suspended in between dark and light. The Boss rapidly went to Taru with Jijo by his side and began to funnel magical darkness power back into Taru reviving him and bringing him back to their dark hate side.-

-"Oh Boss, why can't you...s-see the truth?" Lolit wobbled her spirit hand going up to her chest while her breathing remained labored. Her light slowly began to dim and the darkness began to spread around her body. Her eyes flashed with surprise and she immediately left to be cured by the love me angels.-
